I wonder how long before Servais realizes Bruce hasn't been a 4-hitter for many, many years. Really hurts the lineup having him there. It reminds me of Wak putting Sweeney and Griffey in the heart of the order when they were on their last legs.

I don't recall seeing such a lopsided series as far as umpiring goes. Strike zone has been brutal for Seattle

Yeah not only that but a lot of the borderline calls going the other way. Tough series. Doesn't get any easier with Bauer & Bieber next.

Definitely a disappointment to see them swept at home by the division's alpha dogs. I didn't get to see any of the games, but I saw a strike three call on Vogey that was pretty bad. Maybe I'm glad I didn't watch LOL

Regardless of the result, the team played really well versus an outstanding pitching rotation. The bats came back to earth (no surprise) and outside of the two grand slams, they didn't lose the games, they just got beat by a better team.

We were there Saturday and Sunday and it was great seeing so many fans stay all the way through the Saturday game even as cold as it was.

Looking forward to the Cleveland series though.

Definitely sucks to be in the division we're in this year. Not a lot of room for error. Even the Rangers are going to be a tough out with their bats.

Weird question o' the night -- is there a player on this team you feel like you SHOULD like but don't?

For me it's Mallex Smith. I know a lot people seem to be fans, but I REALLY don't like him. Below average fielder, below average hitter and the helmet flying off every 2 seconds makes me irrationally angry. Oh, and the sitting on his ass after catching a fly ball so Hamilton could score from 2nd didn't help, either.

What about you guys?

I don’t think there’s a player I don’t like. Even Jay Bruce. I just don’t like the coach and wish we could go in a different direction rather than suffer another year of this.
