I own both of those. You have good taste.

Big tech like AAPL, NVDA, MSFT, GOOG but also some consumer stocks like COST, WMT, PG, JNJ. Also E commerce like ETSY, BABA. EV still adding to NIO. Biotech I only have ABBV that I'm adding.

If this ever drops to last March levels I am buying a boat load, there will be just to many good deals out there at that point. Have a 3 BD 2 Bath in Sactown at my disposal if and when that time comes.

BIG with a blowout quarter. Market won’t help it though. That stock should be $80/share.

Look at aapl. Perhaps one if the best companies in the world. Definitely a favorite of jmarchand1981. They got smoked today too. Pypl? Another favorite. Got smoked today. These huge names with profits up the wazoo are all getting hammered.

This is payback for the GME nonsense. The pros are losing too, but they are hedged, helping to mitigate those losses. The margined, leveraged and weakhanded (these are three distinct groups) are selling into weakness, and we all know what to make of that.

The composed, fundamentally sound are watching. I'm watching. I'll bite when the time is right but I like my portfolio mix right now.
I know, I'm just kidding.

I can absorb a ton of loss right now because I've (luckily) been on the right side of so many trades. Should have diversified and hedged more after so many absurd wins so I deserve the beating I've taken this week. Lesson learned.

Spend the rest of the month trying to balance the account more than worry about the next play, next PT, etc...

Eh, you've got to take some lumps for the big gains. It's not the end of the world. Zoom out on your charts. And if losing 10-20% is beyond your personal risk tolerance, then adjust your strategy going forward to better fit your investing/trading style.

Yea I am getting whitewashed today. Down 8% after a 4% loss day yesterday. Is what it is.

NNDM that has been mentioned several times in here is trading around $7 today. This was one of those high flying ARK stocks. Don't own any of it myself anymore, but they took advantage and raised cash several times. As of Jan 31st they had $990M in cash reserves and have since raised another $500M in cash. Market cap today is around $1.7B. If they still hold around $1.4B in cash. Might not be a terrible opportunity for them if they can use the cash wisely.

Also had like $3M in rev for 2020. I will be curious to see where this ends up when the dust settles. Don't own any and as of this moment don't have a plan to buy any. If the company begins to trade below the estimated $1.4B in cash they have then I will think about it. Just thought I would share my thoughts from what I noticed.

Like Josh611 said earlier, the Q's have their -10% pullback sitting around major price support. But the tech flush definitely isn't over.

A lot of deals on solid names to choose from right now, but only slowly scaling in on shares. Will add options once I feel a bottom is in.

Opened some very small positions in COST and QCOM. Wanted to leave some room to add since it feels like, to me, we may have more downward movement coming.

Whats the main driving force between what is going to be a terrible Thursday/Friday for most? Seems like most of you here think its not a short term pain point either.

I think it’s a lot of stuff. Powell’s speech and Disney/Macy’s announcing the shuttering of retail locations point to a difficult post-Covid recovery.

What I've learned over the past week: no more interest in SPACs outside launch price unless Ackman is involved.

My Apple buy order today was $117.40 the 180 day SMA. Apple hit $117.57 lol.

I’m sure I’ll still get it at my price.

Did add more NVDA at $475 though.

PSTH went from my biggest loser on the day to my biggest winner.

There were so many good deals it was hard to pinpoint the right ones. Wish I would have added more to my SQ holding when it dipped below $200 but can’t complain overall. I’m pretty sure DKNG and DMYD will be solid performers for me in the gambling sector this year and I think I will just sit on them for now. DMYD which I acquired quite a bit of on the dip I might trim once it changes it’s ticker.

Sunk quite a bit into PLTR which really got hurt this week, but again I think this one is one I will be happy to let ride for awhile.

If you are bullish on AAPL, why was a market order below $118 not sufficient? Genuinely just curious on the thinking since one day 118 would have been OK but then wanted the 117.40.

probably lost 5% from my high point over the last two weeks. just going to buy spac's near 10-11 at most. going to hold ACTG and SEED for quite a long time, so it is not a big deal to me they went down. they were my main decliners from the high point.

ACTG still has the oxford nanopore 6% stake, which should be IPO'ing at some point this year. last valuation was 1.5 billion, so should add 100 million - 300 million in value i'd guess on the low end.
