When i sent it in i believe economy time was 40 days.
They had it from 4/1/2021 and i got it back in hand on 7/15/2021
about 75 business days + and about 100+ regular days.

Edit:
Here it is in hand literally, looks amazing!

My complete rainbow pictured below is also at cgc in bulk grading right now.

Sweet collection and I definitely like the CSG cases in hand, but they do look odd without the subgrades. I understand why people choose not to pay for them, but just like the no sub BGS slabs they will seek for less. Being as it is your PC, I would grade them all without subs. Congrats. Seeet cards

I've been stuck in "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" for over a week.

I don’t think that warrants being “stuck”? I’ve been in that phase for 2-3 weeks now, feel like it would be pretty normal for this one to be the longest

I received my 2 “thick” cards back today. One was a 2017 Optic Shock John Collins and the other a 2020 Topps Chrome Bichette. Funny thing I had one other Collins and 3 other Bichette in the order which they returned on the original bulk shipment. Makes zero sense.

Similar thing happened to me. I got the rest of an order today that was held up due to the thick cases. 11 additional cards came. ONE was a Flair NBA (so not even that thick) and the rest were standard thickness cards that I had other copies of the same cards returned in regular cases. So that made zero sense.

The regular cards look horrible in the thick cases. They are crooked and the inner sleeve is too visible. Is it just me? It just doesn't look right.

I'll be contacting CS due to the unnecessary thick cases for 10 cards, plus 4 of the cases came with visible scuffs.

Maybe there is an issue with the length and width of the card. The original cases have a pretty tight tolerance for card sizes.

Yea that doesn’t look like a regular sized card to me.

Yeah it's definitely not the dimensions of the card that is an issue. It's a standard size card and measured that way. It's that they put a standard thickness card in a thick case. Here's a pic of one in the proper case to compare. In the proper case, the seal is right at the edge of the card, it looks great and the card isn't going anywhere. In the thick case, the unnecessary sleeve is sealed away from the edges, and not even sealed top to bottom, causing the sleeve to appear wavy and, as you can see, the card looks much less sharp. I have multiple examples of each instance as well.

Is it just me or does the balancing scale on the label look like a pair of nuts

I can't unsee it

When the status goes to Finalized / Imaged / Shipped you can view the grades. Images are hit and miss, sometimes takes an extra day for them to show.

If I were you, I would take a close look at that 8.5 in their regular holder. If they had to take one of the cards and put it in an oversized holder then I would ask myself why the other one didn't have to be put in one also. I had a 89 Pro Set Sanders get damaged because they tried to squeeze it into their regular holder. The sides of the card were sort of wrinkled at the top and bottom of the right side bumper within the case. I have sent it back to them and am just waiting for whatever is supposed to happen next.

They had me mark it as a re-holder. I hope they don't expect me to just accept a re-holder at a lower grade and not receive compensation of some sort for the damaged card. They did get it entered into the system in less than a week, so at least they are fast so far with this process.

Yeah the 8.5 looks fine. It does move a slight but- so it's not like it's crammed. I literally have like 5 copies that got sent with the regular order and 5 that needed the thick holders. Makes zero sense and it was clearly some sort of clerical error and not something that actually had to do with the size of the cards.

For your issue, I hope they would cut you a check. I just got a check in the mail from them for the insured value of a card that they damaged. Good to see they handled it quickly. Hopefully that happens to you.

I did okay, not great, not terrible. Would have liked more than 1 9.5, but I'll take the results, not sure if I'll really be able to flip these for much. I would have sent these as part of a bulk order, but I was trying to get ahead of them potentially shutting down or raising prices. Knowing what I know now, I think they would have been better suited for Bulk orer, but I am glad i got the subgrades on them.

Very impressed with the turnaround time, just over 2 weeks for a standard submission.

So the saga is over.

50-card bulk order (no subs)

Delivered on 3/8
Received on 3/15
Partial shipment of 37 cards on 6/16
Final shipment of 13 cards on 7/29

ranged from 1934 Goudey to 2020 Bowman.
1 Pristine 10
Plenty of 9.5 and 9
lots of low-grade vintage

Pretty happy with everything except for the time (almost 100 business days)
