The QB is different for Miami this season, but besides that, the D seems to be an issue, although they seem much improved this year. I didn't watch the game but I assume they let the Mustangs march right down the field at the end of the game?

If you mean the game tying drive, SMU faced 4th and long when Miami called a timeout just before the snap. The defensive end must not have heard the whistle because he hit the QB and got flagged for 15. Without that controversial play, SMU would have been in a tough position to continue that drive.

But yeah in overtime once Miami missed the FG on their possession, they did little to stop SMU from scoring. EDIT: I corrected myself in a later post, but it was a Beck interception which prevented Miami from scoring on their possession.
