Been playing around with Thursday lineups today, well Monday-Thursday lineups minus the Bills game which for some reason I can't pick from.

So from the thanksgiving slate and tonight's Saints Ravens game rolling this out there in a GPP and would love some feedback on it. Draftkings pricing and lineup

QB - Mathew Stafford
RB - Demarco Murray
RB - Reggie Bush
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Marques Colston
WR - Terrence Williams
TE - Jimmy Graham
FLEX - Darren Sproles
Defense - Seahawks

Its contrarian because I doubt many people are on Reggie Bush or the Lions for that matter since they have looked like ass lately or not been playing. Reggie is coming back this week so he's sneaky to me. I think he could have played yesterday but in New England they decided to rest him to win this game. I also think they bounce back big this week and crush the Bears by 2 TDs.

This one also includes Terrence Williams who has done nothing the past three weeks. I have to wonder if the Cowboys want to continue ignoring Williams like this because it will hurt them down the line. It was Cole Beasily or Terrence Williams for me and I'm going with the bigger Cowboy. I'm also rolling with Colston over everyone's favorite Stills this week simply because I think he is going to be the better play. Colston never gets respect he is Rodney Dangerfeld so while everyone's plugging in Stills give me some old reliable against the soft Ravens corners.

At TE you have two choices playing in this style, Witten or Graham and to me that's not even a choice and while I hate paying up for a TE getting Sproles as a consolation prize as my flex is liveable. He could score again and be involved more then we think if Dallas decides to blitz Sanchez. Plus lets be honest, he looks better with the ball in his hands then McCoy does.

As for Defenses it's the 49ers vs the Seahawks for me this week and I like the Seahawks more so they are in.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Even if it sucks I would love to hear it. To really win one of these GPPs you have to be contrarian to the point of losing BIG as a real outcome and I think I hit on it.

In the Millionaire Maker got 24th/70,000. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to win $3,000...but only 23 away from $1,000,000. Gross.

Did anyone notice the guy who won the Sunday millions on FD today? This 'bigpapi' guy not only got 1st place, but 8th place. Additionally, I remember discussing him to my friend either last week or the week before because he got 1st place then as well.

Either he's running ridiculously hot, or someone has a crystal ball.

Congrats fitch!

Ended cashing on 5/8 entries. Not too bad. The garbage time Graham TD cost me 1 entry.

Congrats Fitch, very impressive. I ended up doubling up on FD for the week and had another profitable week on DK, so certainly cant complain. Last nights lineup would have been even more impressive had I rolled out Brees but hitting all the Saints scores gives me hope that Thanksgiving will be profitable as well

That's smoking hot . I tried out a strategy this weekend when I entered the same lineups in the same contests and hit on it doubling my wins and getting 4th place in both entries. Multi entries seem the way to go

If you hit big once, it gives you a lot of freedom to multi-entry and hedge out different game flow scenarios. It would not shock me if 'bigpapi' had a nearly identical lineup to the #1 roster, but with Crabtree swapped in for Boldin (I believe they were same price). Assuming they keep playing, I would be shocked if the player does not place in the top 10 again by year's end. If they're American, the tax implications on the $600k+ from the last two weeks almost make it a necessity to throw 100+ entries/week to try and take down 1st again because such a large chunk of the end of year winnings is going to Uncle Sam. What the player really should do, especially with such a large bankroll, is to double or triple enter each lineup so that if they do luck out again they take down 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

I'm a sucker for the big contests - been playing the Draftkings Million all year and started palying the Fanduel Million a few weeks ago. Been doing pretty well on draftkings, can usually cash in about half of my lineups, but I gotta say although I don't like the format nearly as much, Fanduel seems easier to cash on.

Glad they both have big Thanksgiving contests though, will be cool to have a big contest start and end all in the same day!

Man, I hate to be a downer but no matter what in a few weeks Daily Fantasy will be all we have left

do you think everyone will just pick players from the cowboys-eagles game for the thursday game? the other 2 games should be defensive ones.

Well, if the NFL has taught us anything this year, it's that Philly-Dallas will be a 10-7 game and Seattle-San Fran will be 35-34.

That said, I do have a bunch of Eagles/Cowboys in my lineups, but it kinda just worked out that way.

So I thought about starting a thread on this question but figure I would ask you experts here first and maybe it goes unnoticed?

Who is the RB you want to own now in New England this week? I've gone over the match ups for this weekends slate of games and one big ass thing stood out to me.

Vegas is projecting the highest over this week to be in the the New England vs Green Bay Packers game.

Drilling down deeper I can see that the Packers suck at stopping the opposing teams RB. The Packers are ranked 30th in the league doing that and allow an average of 136.7 yards per game to the other guy. We all remember the last big Patriots game, when they ran the ball 44 times down the throats of the Colts on there way to a 22 point beat down. So it stands to reason that the Patriots will attack the Packers weakness on the road like they always do and rush the hell out of the ball.

The problem here is distribution. Last weekend they rushed the ball 20 times and attacked through the air on the Lions. Those 20 carries went to

12 - Blount
8 - Vereen
0 - Gray

Detroit has a great defense that stops the opposing rusher so not surprised they didn't run much last week even in a blowout. The Patriots always attack the other teams weakness. Now this week the Patriots are looking at the other direction, Packers can stop the opposing QB and WR much better then they can the opposing RB so maybe the 1 million dollar question is which Patriots RB is the guy you want this week?

Is it Blount, Vereen, or Gray this week?

Now snap counts from last weeks games show they were

Gray - 0 (yea he didn't play at all)
Blount - 17
Vereen - 62

Which screams the answer is Vereen BUT the fantasy points went this way

Gray - 0
Blount - 20.8 points
Vereen - 14.0 points

In drafkings ppr site. And the yards per carry average went

Blount - 6.5
Vereen - 1.5
Gray - 0

Which clearly shows Blount is the better more effective RB, but whats the deal with Gray, and whats the deal with Vereen being in so many more plays then Blount last week and do you think that continues this week?

Pats are tough to guess because it depends what the gameplan is for that day. My safe bet is to always go with Vereen, because of his PPR capabilities. He won't see much goal line, but next week Gray may get 20 carries, and Blount might see 0.

I don't touch any of Belichicks running backs. Way too risky since you don't know who he will hand the ball too.

I understand fellas but if I wanted to fade them I would and I don't this week. I am hoping that someone who follows the Patriots can share some light on this situation for us

While I don't exactly follow the Pats, I do read around as I do FanDuel, weekly fantasy, parlays, etc. so I do my share of research.

If they are planning to attack the weak point, they will definitely be running the ball this week. It will be freezing in Lambeau, and the Packers are near the bottom in run defense. Blount might be the choice for the week, as Gray may still be in the doghouse from being late. But if you're set on one of them, I'd wait till the last minute possible to get as much info on Gray as the week goes along.

Sound advise that that's what I was thinking. The whole 0 plays throws me off big time on Gray. Why didn't they use him? Maybe they rested him for this week? Or maybe he is forever in that doghouse never to be seen from again. Hell if I know

Stafford sucks or the offensive line, or both. I was hoping for a big game in the dome vs a poor chicago secondary

There we go, this is more what I was expecting. Pairing Stafford with Megatron is working out well
