Yeah I don’t know why they haven’t caught on either. I have a bunch cuz I love the premium patches vs the crap in base RPAs but value wise I don’t know if they’ll ever appreciate as much as ugly cards that come from “premium” brands

probably. but that's sort of the issue. $8k for a gem is like $5k for raw or 9. print run is only 25 and has a beautiful patch. /79s are grabbing more than twice that with ugly practice jersey patches. just a weird dynamic, I know they're really pushing the booklets this year I wonder if they'll catch on with the newer crowd (I'm relatively new and like them so maybe)

Very true and i certainly agree with you. Give me a nice patch gem booklet anyday over a raw inferior patch rpa. This auction might surprise us though and will have my eye on it

They are hard to store. They don’t “fit” into my collection. I know that’s a petty reason but I’m guessing I’m not the only one who thinks that. Besides that, they are beautiful cards. If I ever decided to display cards, I would definitely purchase some.

So there were a few Silver Prizm PSA 10’s that ended last night in the $6200-6500 range.

I’m curious where it ends up leveling off at before the start of new season in December...

Thoughts?

I say besides outliers, people who need money fast, they will level off at 5750-6K. I for one have lost interest in the bubble playoffs until possibly the finals. All 4 remaining teams in East have limited interest from me. Once Thursday gets here I will spend more time In Football Forum. Luka lull until next season. At least everything should be in hand from PSA for you very thing I have sent.

Assuming they start the Finals on Sept 30 as planned (I suppose they could start earlier if the conference finals end in sweeps) you're probably looking at mid-October at best to finish this season. I don't see any way they can start in December and still have a draft, offseason rest, training camps, and preseason games. My guess is a mid-January start with a shortened season. I always thought 64 games was enough anyway, except...money.

I'd expect a modified bubble because it's unlikely there will be much change on the pandemic front before then. Depends on how the NFL and college football fare, I think. Baseball has done pretty well with travel games despite some hiccups, but there doesn't seem to be much point in traveling to play in empty arenas.

The bubble has actually made for a much more efficient scheduling--you can realistically play every other day for an extended period.

Not a bad guess. Finished at $7600. Seriously considering moving a /79 if those prices are real, because it just feels out of whack

Nice pickups, If I remember correctly I think the PINK is #'d to 75

Correct. The blue to 99 psa 10 is 4 to 5x what that went for. I get the blue getting a premium but dang. Technically, pink is a color match for Luka if you have ever seen his face during a game.
