What are your thought on the Kabooms (RC), haven’t seen much discussion on here about them. They have been Far and few in between on eBay even during the peek. Do values increase due to rarity and appeal, or just a short term fade?

Full disclosure I own one.

I own one as well (his rookie Kaboom).

The consensus here seems to be that it's a great looking card but kind of kitschy. A negative people seem to have is the lack of RC logo on the card.

That said, I think it's quite valuable/rare and find myself looking at it quite often.

Agreed, it’s a great card to display. Also has to be fairly rare, haven’t seen many. Any estimates on print?

Haven't seen any info on print runs for them. Case hits if I recall correctly.

IMO the thing that kept me from buying one last summer is that it doesn't have the RC shield and it doesn't say anything about it being a rookie card. Obviously collectors know that 18-19 is a Luka rookie, but as a long term hold I just think it might be harder to move in 10-15 years because nothing says it's a rookie.

Awesome card though - love that explosion foil look (love it in Revolution too).

Roughly 2600 cases (add up all autos and divide by 16).

Let’s call it 2500 for hold backs.

25 card checklist @ 1 per case = ~100 total.

I can’t remember if the Kaboom and Marquee alternated cases. I seem to remember this, but could honestly be mistaken. If they did, the Kaboom is ~/50.

Absolutely zero kids wanna buy sports cards unless they have a parent who’s totally into it and makes them immediately put a card into a soft sleeve and hard case.

I love them. I hope to own one of those and a From Downtown and display them side by side!! Beautiful cards. I'm sure pics dont do them justice.

I own a Luka Kaboom!

It's fun and stands out from other cards. I don't mind that there's no RC logo.

There had to have been two separate autograph signings with Optic. IMO most of the ones on eBay aren't the same signer especially the Optic sticker autographs. I'd also add his early Real Madrid autographs as well with the #7 inscription from Upper Deck and Flawless Collegiate; 100% real.

Mail day! If you can't afford the rookie, year two is a solid consolation prize. I like the blue ice color from previous releases, its looks more icey. This year's blue ice has more of a topps chrome sapphire look to it. For this card, I definitely like the sapphire look more.

Speaking of Blue Ice, anyone know if the 2018 Blue Ice RC PWCC had up for sale for $45K sold?

They took it down and now there's a different one from PWCC up for $70K...

Missed out on a few of the Blue Chronicles last year so I made sure I got them early this year. All numbered /99 except the Limited is /49. Plus the Bronze of Crusade and Flux. Need the Bronze Hometown Heroes if anyone has one.

Good job! 2019 just does not do it for me, but getting all of those /99 blue is sweet.
