I don’t understand Boone sometimes. McKinney hit a home run in his last at bat but gets pinch hit for with runners on 1st and 3rd and 2 outs by Lemahieu who is hitting.239 now lower by the way. I understand it was to have a righty face the lefty reliever but sometimes you just have to let the game play out.

Players get on streaks except for us we pull guys who hit HRs

Oh and we let Rizzo with his busted neck flail away. Maybe he needs to homer sp he can sit on the bench.

Too many of the guys we expect things from are underperforming, since Rizzo missed those 3 games he is like 1 for 20 something. Gleyber is too streaky never consistent at all he is on a 2 for 20 something binge. Lemahieu hasn’t been clutch for awhile now, your batting average doesn’t drop to .238 for nothing. Stanton once in a blue moon he contributes but we always figure his next injury is right around the corner. I would love to see how the Yankees pitching staff would pan out if all of them were healthy at the same time but unfortunately that’s not going to happen.

It's like the veterans can't hit without Judge in the lineup. This team is frustrating to watch for just like last year when they started massively losing games. I'm not holding my breath that this team will make it out of third place this year, much less make the playoffs or do anything in it.

One day, Boone and Cashman may be held accountable. I just don't see it while Hal is owner.

Not sure what to think of this team at the moment. With Judge out, our offense obviously takes a hit but could still be capable of scoring a fair amount of runs. Need to get DJ, Stanton, and Rizzo going.

Pitching has been really good all things considered, but we all know that burnout is real and will happen eventually. Rodon needs to hit the ground of running when he comes back which I think will be earlier than what people think. He's throwing to live hitters now so next step should be rehab games.

As far as the looming trade deadline, Yanks have the least amount of chips that they've had in a while so don't expect anything other than minor additions.

All Star break will be telling. Judge will be back around that time, but if the Rays are 10+ up then its secure #1 wild card.

I would rather give up on winning the division and be completely healthy going into the playoffs as a wildcard.

Both of these teams look like garbage right now. Hard to believe the Yankees are 10 games over .500 with so many struggling. I thought the Red Sox had fixed themselves and were going to be in the 85 to 90 win territory I don’t think with sale on the 60 day IL that can be possible.
