Disgusting. There are still individuals who will slob all over the PWCC knob, too. I really wish I could get over these cards, move on and quit this hobby forever.

I stopped about 5 years ago. I had a f/s thread on a Xander Bogaerts Bowman Chrome gold. Mikecanceliere (if memory serves) wanted me to take like 30 photos of the card at all angles, and if it didn't grade well, wanted to send it back for a full refund. I of course refused him and he blew a gasket. I realized then that it just wasn't worth the hassle, nor the effort. I see now I made the right choice.

PWCC is a disgrace but I’m a believer in karma and Brent and PWCC is going to get what is coming to them one day. They are not going to be able to run a multi million dollar business without someone taking notice. It wouldn’t be the first time the feds have stepped into the card market.

That Instagram post should be posted into every one of the “Tenets” Conservations vs Alteration threads in all of the sports to increase maximum exposure and the be 100% sure PWCC is reading all of the responses.

I’m not going to let them ruin my collecting experience, too many good people. But, it will cause me to take a third or fourth look at anything I do.. PWCC sucks.

That would be hilarious if everyone decided to boycott and rogue shill PWCC's auctions without paying. Like, I'm talking 50% or more of their listings.

How did you keep from returning? Serious question. Is it just constant out of sight and out of mind practice, or were you able to fill the void, so to speak, with something else as a hobby? I feel as if the quality of my life would increase considerably if I could get out of this hobby and stay out, sadly, because it also attracts total scum of the earth. Having been a collector, you can probably relate to shutting out the call of cardboard being difficult.

I did. I put it in the email vault to keep it safe for future generations.

I just had my first eBay sale where the shipping address was PWCC Vault so apparently this is rolling forward...

Must be from an investor. As a collector, I need to have my cards in my possession.

I'm looking into it. The ebay state tax collection just hit my state.

Hate to do it but I would hate it more to have to pay 10% more on something big.

I signed up for shipmycards but it looks like AZ just got hit with the state tax thing this month too.

There are other mailbox services in Oregon and other tax free states.

Exactly. That's why this could succeed.

I said it would gain momentum once eBay sales tax started hitting more states and people laughed at me.

Interesting. I just did a quick google search. I didn't know it was a thing.

Is there one you recommend or you've heard good things about by any chance?

I use one in Delaware but if i were you i'd research ones in west coast tax free states first. That way you'd have slightly shorter shipping times.
