The Raiders already paid him $9MIL, into his 4 year deal. The Bears now get him for $5MIL over the next 3 years, plus a 4th year option on the cheap.

You have O-Linemen out there making $20+ MIL a season. Kicking the tires on last years 1st rounder, at under $2MIL a season, was a value grab.

They assume they can fix him, and everyone knows he was playing out of position Vegas. They tried making a rookie something he wasnt.

Good luck. He gave up the most QB pressures last year and the most this preseason of any OL.

It will take luck for sure. But he is still a cheap project to try and fix. He was 1st team all SEC. 1st team All American. And won the Outland Trophy as the nations best lineman.

He is a tackle, but the Raiders moved him to Guard due to injuries on the line. I assume the Bears will make him a tackle once more. A change of scenery and new coaching staff, and who knows.

It cost the Raiders a 1st round pick and nearly $10MIL to find out he sucks. It costs the Bears next to nothing if they learn the same.

Bears envision building a multi-purpose entertainment district anchored by a "new, best-in-class enclosed stadium, providing Chicagoland with a new home worthy of hosting global events such as the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff and Final Four." The Bears penned an open letter vowing to not seek public funding for "direct stadium structure construction" but expressed a desire with various governmental agencies to secure additional funding and assistance for the remainder of the development which would also include restaurants, office space

At least Bears are moving to a city to be considered safe crime wise. If there is any extra money and concerte maybe can just wall off Chicago itself LOL

Chicago is a great place for those events. Centralized and easy to get to for the entire country.

Mercedes Benz (ATL), SoFi (LA), Jerrys Billion Dollar Playpen (DAL), Allegiant (LV).... Chicago would be an ideal spot to get another one

Tell me you are from Wisconsin, without telling me you are from Wisconsin.

The South Side of Chicago is for sure one of the more dangerous places you can be. And most of those people live in poverty, which goes hand and hand with crime.

But anyone that thinks the entirety of Chicago is "Chiraq", has zero clue about the World Class City.

I get that big cities can be scary. And Chicago is the 3rd largest in the nation. But it is also nearly 250 SQ Miles, which is huge, and most of the issues are centered in the aforementioned areas.

Some of the richest neighborhoods in the country are in Chicago (there are 100 neighborhoods in the city). Streeterville, The Gold Coast, Forest Glen, Lincoln Park ETC

Renown dining, theater, museums, festivals blah blah blah.

Only way I would go near Chicago is if I am driving thru or having to fly out of the city otherwise there is nothing in that city that would interest me to go see.

I grew up in the Forest Glen area and it was a blast! Aside from the traffic you wouldn't know you were in Chicago until you started driving towards downtown. Loved visiting friends in Lincoln Park. Super Dawg is a national treasure and we still make trips down specifically to get their whooper cheesies and super dawgs.

It's all good about the WI folks. There's a lot of good people up here but a decent portion of them are also disdainful of Milwaukee and Madison too. Pretty much any city larger than Green Bay is looked at with suspicion or fear.

Milwaukee might be worse then Chicago. Now that is a city that offers nothing but crime.

Madison nice city but a bunch of loons run the city.

But the IL people can keep coming up to WI (Door County) and keep spending that money.

The Mag Mile, State Street, The Art Museum, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Adler Planetarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Architecture tours, Field Museum, Chicago Theater, Shedd Aquarium, countless famous restaurants & bars ETC.

Absolutely no reason? You are missing out hayseed!

Door County is 7th among the state’s 72 counties last year with Milwaukee County topping the list followed by Sauk, Dane, Waukesha, Brown and Walworth counties.

Really it is mostly Wisconsin people going to Door County.

I guess this is scary...

When you are used to this...

Why disadvantage? Inside no weather it's netural for both teams. Cold and windy give slight edge to home team as they play in it each year.

Only game I can remember I hated going to at Lambeau because of weather was the one vs the Bears when they retired Favre's number. That night it was a pouring rain that was so cold it froze you to the bone.

I’d rather go to a cold game vs a hot game. Went to a Bucs game and it was near 100 with swamp azz humidity. Nothing you could do. When it’s cold you can layer up at least. When it’s hot nothing you can do. No layers can come off. We were all happy sitting at 50 yard line in lower section behind team bench. Then regretted it

Packers 6-6 in home playoff games since 2002. Including losses to the 49ers (California) and Tampa Bay (Florida) in the last 2 years. Tell me more about the Lambeau Mystique
