If the Eagles can keep their sh*t together the two weeks leading up then they've got a shot.

Kansas City, as they've been there before and the TB SB is still stings for Reid & Company.

Obvious who I am picking

Something to consider that I think some people forget

Additional "out of the norm" stuff going on with the SB. Obviously the additional media spectacle, non stop (longer) timeouts, longer halftime and so on.

A lot of NFL players and teams are creatures of habit and literally everything is different for the SB.

KC has been involved more recently and IMO has a bit of an advantage when it comes to that aspect.

Do you consider Mahomes a true pocket passer? If not, could be 1st SB without one.

He’s in between he counts on his legs a lot. His game should age fairly well I would think though.

I could see him aging like a Rodgers. Aaron is 39 and still able to move around enough and run for the occasional first down. Hell at 33 he had 369 yards and 4 TDs.

Rodgers was ~25 when he become a starter. He also changed his throwing technique to avoid injury from hits to his lower body.

Don’t think his career arc will mimic Mahomes. The opposite would be a QB like Roethlisberger, who by the end of his career still had decent arm strength but his knees were so jacked up from arthritis and injury he couldn’t produce any power.

I really don't want to see the Eagles win, but I also hate that all the Eagles fans I know are surprisingly nice people.

My undergrad roommate is one of the best guys I know in this world and he's straight out of Philly.

I was surprised to see the Madden Simulator, which they say has correctly predicted Super Bowls 70%, has Philly winning 31-17.

I’ve noticed a lack of talk and excitement that usually comes with the SB. I’m in prime Eagles country, even their fans have been relatively quiet.

I’m gonna be honest, not really that excited for this game.

I fully anticipate a giant clusterfudge on the field. Not sure how entertaining it will be.

Agree:

I'm heavily invested in Patty, moderately invested in Hurts, but yes, agree, not especially pumped for this game.

I just don't agree with that at all. These are two of the most entertaining teams you could hope for.

Getting closer and I'm getting more nervous. Eagles should win this game, but that Mahomes guy has too much magician in him. Need to really get to him or its over over.

Should be a good game 1-48 I think the eagles are collectively stronger, but #1 being Mahomes has to give the Chiefs a ton of confidence.

For that reason I am going Chiefs, but I think it will be close and come down to who plays their game script the best. Mistakes on critical downs are going to be massive. If the eagles can start hot though and play their way of letting their dline tee off, they are almost impossible to beat. If they fall behind though I think the Chiefs take it 31-27.

Chiefs have the best player on the field. From there, you could argue who is 2nd best (most will say Travis Kelce). But the next 3-10 players or so are ALL Eagles, save Chris Jones sliding in there possibly. Should be a really good game. Eagles fans are quiet when they are confident, which is not an every day type of emotion for us. GO BIRDS

QB: Chiefs
RBs: Eagles
WRs/TEs: Eagles
Online: Push? (I really don't know)

Dline: Eagles
Non Edge LBs: Chiefs
DBs: Eagles

I think Eagles win more positions groups, but I'm not sure any of them are blowouts. Pretty evenly matched up IMO.

Eagles have what some believe is the best offensive line since the 90's Cowboys. Left side of the line OT/LG combined are 750+ lbs.

Yeah it’s not a push.

Chiefs Oline is good. Eagles Oline is elite.

I can be convinced.

If there's one part of the Eagles roster I'm not that familiar with, it's the Oline.

Chiefs line isn't bad either, though.

What’s not exciting about this? Best player in football going up against a great defense and up and coming superstar going QB with an explosive offense. Only way this game sucks is if Mahomes gets reinjured early on. Should be amazing. I am a tiny bit worried about an Eagles blowout but only because I am a Mahomes fan and emotionally I like to plan for worst case scenario.
