The good thing is, people are talking. This is the 1st year of my life that I even checked the scores of any Women’s Sporting Event, much less rooted for a particular Player, and I can’t be the only one. That’s the power of C Clark!

They've figured out how to market women's basketball to the masses. CNN's cover after the game had a similar approach. Didn't show Caitlin in defeat, yet didn't show SC in victory. I wouldn't sweat it too much because it's going to be an interesting social experiment going forward.

Caitlin Clark = Shoehei Ohtani

There is no lady in women's basketball that can shoot like Stephen Curry. There is no gambler in the history of baseball that can do Babe Ruth thing and succeed.

As an American Male Basketball fan, I think it's important to show proper respect to Clark. She lives and breaths basketball and willingly left her home state to perform across our great nation. We shouldn't drag her through the mud just because she may or may not be attractive and has a uterus. Let's wait for the facts to come out and then we can make judgements on her.

I think it’s great for WNBA maybe they can get more traction now! I’ve never really watched women sports very much but the last 2 yrs have been different A lot of it for me started with LSU women’s basketball Caitlin Clark has elevated for me watching most of the tournament which I never did before

Same here. Caitlin is fun to watch. She's the only woman bb player I've followed.

I don't care how many millions of people watched. I don't care how many more people she gets watching, or how many little girls she inspires to play ball. Nor do I care if she elevates the whole interest in the WNBA.

She's fun to watch and I'll watch her play regardless of all the other noise.

I just realized that most people probably couldn't tell the difference between her cards in a college uniform or WNBA uniform

Well..... did you ever think that you'd see this for a WNBA game? Usually they look to downsize to storage units to play games....

@LegionHoops - The Las Vegas Aces are moving their matchup against the Indiana Fever and potential No. 1 pick Caitlin Clark this upcoming season to T-Mobile Arena to accommodate 8K more seats.

Teams are changing venues before she’s even drafted…

Something I never thought I’d say ~ I will be buying WNBA Wax with and due to C Clark’s RC. I’ve been buying Wax off and on since the 80’s, and have never even considered….

I keep saying this, but the ROI on WNBA stuff is crazy. I just sold a Haley Jones Mosiac from 2023 for $150 last night. For the cost of WNBA stuff, and the names they put on the auto list, it is a good product.

I'd say we chatted about Ronda Rousey briefly but not to the extent Clark. All the others we were too young and the only time we ever talked about Griner was when she got stuck in Russia.

She's an amazingly skilled basketball player and the only reason I watched the Championship game. I have never watched more than a minute of a women's basketball game before. A shame she is getting some shade thrown her way from current/former WNBA players. I suppose if she was all tatted up and getting busted in foreign countries with cannabis oil they'd be more accepting.

You know you’ve done something special when jealously by some surfaces as negativity

C'mon, who among us hasn't tried to smuggle illegal substances through a Russian airport? I'm not going to cast the first stone on this one.

Question Topps Collegiate Campaign Box Set

https://www.topps.com/products/caitl...u-now-reg.html

New to the Forum - Really enjoying the dip back in. Used to collect casually in 80s/90s. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this set above? I’m on the Fence as to whether or not CC is at a Peak OR the Peak of the Value. Feeling like the Value of LE stuff like this can be higher in Short Run, but it’s so hard to gauge because we’re in an Age (Social Media - Trends) where perceived value can often outweigh true value. CC is definitely game-changing in a variety of ways. Love or Hate her…

Would you Rip, Hold or Pass?

Just wait until those tens of hundreds of fans start heckling her after a slow start.
Then the real fun begins with the bag holders of WNBA products. Yikes

WNBA secondary market for Panini Prizm will be off the charts-you can take that to the bank-literally

I have to question her intelligence if she turns down the Big 3 offer.

What I've seen:

Some people are upset that very accomplished WNBA vets like A'Ja Wilson are overlooked for signature shoes and that it's black women that are getting passed over. They see that Ionescu has a shoe so popular that male hoopers wear her shoes and that Clark is likely to slide into that Kobe type model as well.

I believe it is because of the position and lack of marketability. She is a center. Jokic (Embiid laughably signs with Sketchers) has no signature shoe but- DBook, Ja, Zion and Tatum do with waaaay less accolades.
