And even if he DID make a bonehead or selfish decision to help with his future legacy....SHOCKER, you mean to tell me a 22 yr old college kid made a dumb choice- because that NEVER EVER happens ![]() I'll take Ward's actions over someone that does something illegal or kills somebody from drag racing |

I doubt that during halftime Cam just said thanks guys I’m out, good luck pulling this one out. All inside parties likely knew the script.
Meathead Mario should have said just that and hey we wanted a more thorough look at Emory too during real competitive game action OR something like that instead of “we don’t disclose private decisions.” To slam Cam here seems overly dramatic as none of his teammates on the sideline seemed irritated & upset with him. If anything perhaps they enjoyed getting some shine of their own, far from the “he quit on his team narrative.” UM glory 20, 30 years in the rear view but I really believe there still lingers some “Canes hate” from whooping all comers #@#@#@ way back when. |

They should have sacrificed Ward instead of the cinnamon roll Pop Tart.

I'm a Cam fan, but he fumbled A TON before coming into this year. Combine that with his terrible interceptions and it gives Sanders the edge...

Ward has more tools and has a higher ceiling. Sanders is a more accurate passer but can’t make the plays Cam does and isn’t as athletic |

You must not watch the games. Ward launched a bunch of terrible picks across his body across the field while trying to extend plays this year when he should've thrown the ball away.
Shedeur has a faster 40 time than Cam, so I'd give the edge in athleticism to Sanders as well. |

YES, I watched the games- Cam is a hero ball, high risk, high reward type of player which makes for a higher ceiling and big play ability. Most experts have Ward as #1, and it’s for a reason. Athleticism is MORE than a 40 time. Ward is harder to take down, can escape more and has a bigger arm. Last edited by Floridacardguy; 12-29-2024 at 06:42 PM. |

Bowl Season used to be one of my favorite times of the year and now I could care less about college football in general. Can’t wait until players start opting out of playoff games and the whole thing crumbles.

I don’t like this QB crop at all. That said Ward is a less athletic Vince Young with worse decision making. I’m sure having Miami positional talent around him upped his eye appeal so I do get the hype. He’s got that Kirk Cousins trait about him where he WILL lose you games single handedly.
My assessment comes from watching him at WSU for 2 years. Mateer looks like a far better prospect IMO and I’m excited to see what he does with Sooner talent around him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I raised the question to OP about how he faded down the stretch, like previous years, with a much better supporting cast.
I could be wrong but I see the athleticism and not the decision making, awareness or anticipation of a pro QB. |
