Most of the matchups looks like they might hold as is, but bshea/silverandblack are currently tied so that one could go either way, and then Highroller/Dbacks is still fairly close. But, if all scores hold, final standings will be (giving bshea the W over silverandblack with 1 starter going today over none for s&b):

Lots can certainly still change, but that's the playoff picture heading into the day. A potential 3-way tie for 5th place means 1 team is going to be pushed out of the playoffs, and that might be todderfield as he has the lowest total points for (the first tiebreaker). But, Bshea is far from being guaranteed the win, so if he can't come out on top, he'll drop to 7th place and both Julu and Todderfield will sneak into the playoffs

Overall things have been incredibly close! It's been a great season and this final day before the playoffs start are going to be really fun to watch

it seemed like every starter I started this week, besides stras, provided me with negative points, sam dyson had a blow up, and I thought I set a Saturday lineup in which I didn't. Just the perfect time for my team to all out collapse. I am so disappointed.

Some interesting Stats
By far and large Team Neiderman led in sbs in cs with 136,46 a piece. The worst ratio came from highroller which had 46 steals to 20 stolen bases (ouch).

Knuckleball Schwartz had 2 of the 5 cycles this year - only team with multiple cycle points.

Only one team exceeded the 800 RBI mark and that was the juicers

Juicers almost hit the 2500 total bases mark, but the whales led that category with 2507, as well as 808 Runs scored.

Despite having the fewest saves with 25, waking up with AL was one blown save away from leading the league and ended with 18.

Niderman had 19 blown saves leading the way

knuckballSchwartz had 5

Down by the corner had 12, with 99 saves leading the way there

There were 17 games where teams played pitchers who threw a shutout, 7 of them were on down by the corner (over 1/3rd)

One common factor of all the playoff teams - they all had 1400+ IP except for the juicers who really had to have there bats step up with only 1249 ip.

The three under teams under 1400 IP - 9th,11th,12th place.

There were only 2 teams who had a worse lost to quality start ration

Well I left a 29-point Odorizzi gem on the bench because it's Jake Odorizzi and that was completely unexpected, but I got exactly what I needed with what'll be a 19 pointer from Stephenson and what likely will be a -19 pointer from Vargas for julu. I get Quintana and Kershaw in the next two days, so hoping for a couple of solid days coming up soon

My team has been ridiculous lately. Kershaw scores -4, while Odorizzi and Manaea combine for 50 points on my bench because they had awful matchups and hadn't pitched great lately. Julu's having a solid week, but my team hasn't helped me much. Need Archer, McHugh, and Nolasco to all pitch well tonight to have a shot at making a comeback

It all comes down to our pitching. My team has been playing like winners for the most part but it all comes down to Chris Sale's performance this weekend. I did learn a very valuable lesson this week with Vargas. He is a washed up bum that will never pitch for my team again.

I'm hardly exaggerating when I say nearly every pitcher sit/start decision this week has gone the wrong we for me. It's crazy how bad this week was. I'll post the actual numbers later

Used starts that resulted in points of: -13, -8, -4, -3, -3, -1, -1, 19, 22

Sat starts that ended up in points of: 29, 21, 18


So I literally only made the right sit/start decision twice the entire week (out of 12 total decisions). The crazy thing is that looking back, even in retrospect I should have only changed 1 of those decisions (given the quality of the pitcher and his matchup). It's unreal how bad they were this week, absolutely unreal. So that's my quick exit from the championship bracket this year
