My first order with PC popped. Small order with nothing super valuable but excited nonetheless. This is my first time submitting to PSA -

I don’t want to bother Jewcer over the weekend. Anyone know exactly how it works when you provide your consignment list? As far as, will I get an email that they’re posted? Being that my sub was part of a personal, does that mean that my final balance is the one that is written in the email when I first submitted my cards. The reason I ask is because I see that people that are in groups subs, they have their balance next to their name. Which is kinda cool.

And after some diligent (actually spent about 3 minutes) it seems that The Reverend is to blame for bringing the term “BASS” into this thread. I lit �� to the match, I take full responsibility for that. Glad to see that we can move on from this, back to basic (no pun intended) terminology.

They don't let you know they are listed. I just check their ebay for one of my consigned serial numbers (since they put that in the title).

The Tuesday after they ended they send a spreadsheet letting you know what has been paid for and what your balance is as well as what wasn't paid for and needs to be relisted.

We will sort your cards when they come in and send them over to the consignment team. They generally get them up within a week. Your cards will be listed in a store category with some variation of your initials. As bn2cardz said we list the slab # so you can search for it and once you know your store category you can always watch that in the future.

Your estimated total is probably very close to your total, we won’t know the exact total until we sort and count how many remaining cards we have so we can add shipping into the total.

About how many days from when you receive the email that your grades are ready, until they land on Ebay. I know it says up until two weeks, but rather then just searching, I figure I'd ask.

Also, I graded two pretty scarce Soccer cards. Kaboom! cards of Ronaldo and Pulisic that both came back as 10's. They're so random on Ebay, could that be the reason that I did not get upcharged? PSA can't truly say that the card is worth "X" amount of dollars? Based on such a small sample size? The Ronaldo last sold for $4K, but then before that it was around $912 and $812 for PSA 9's. Can't really find much history. Sorry if this went off topic, really trying to get a better understanding of what I want to consign vs what I want to keep, allthewhile having to pay that $2450 NUT.

It takes a few days to get them back, then sort and then get them to the consignment team. It’s not 2 weeks from when grades pop, it’s 2 weeks from when we get them in hand. Yours should be back on Monday so I’d expect them listed some time the following week.

They try to only upcharge when it’s obvious that it’s in the next level. Cards that are obscure or not common don’t always get their attention for upcharges.

I am hoping 99 and 11 get done by thanksgiving, but not looking promising considering the length of time things are in grading phase. 6 weeks already

On a different note, in preparation for 2021, I am sending my first personal out tomorrow
100 cards that will lend itself to some strong beginning of the year consignments.

I should clarify. This is a market, just like anything else. It will boom and bust. Right now, it is booming.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Josh and what he's done. He knows that. I value the service he provides tremendously, and I hope he becomes a millionaire one day (if he isn't already!).

Oh there will be a downturn one day, but let’s hope no time soon. In my opinion it is the basketball market, it is international, that is driving the sport cars market and Pokémon is just getting started. Football and baseball pales in comparison in my opinion. Yes I am grading all sports, but because I grade to consign, basketball pays the bill and put extra in my pocket. Until THE MINOR LEAGUE teams play again, the baseball market will be slow, that is a prospect sport. Basketball is becoming one also, but very easy to flip when You have the right stuff in hand. I say we have at least 2 years to reap the benefits of a growing trend.

I sure hope you're right. My gut has actually been telling me to get out of baseball for quite some time now. The $$$ is in basketball and other things.

I’m torn on baseball. Part of me sees the declining interest in baseball and want to stay away. Then the other part of me sees topps chrome refractors of the top rookies not named Luis going for sub $40. It just seems way too low. I’m not going all out but I am dabbling.
