Not sure if you can say, but any plans to expand to other sports eventually?

With Fanatics taking over Topps, and obtaining other league and players union licenses, it would be great to see Living Sets for NFL, NBA, and NHL.

If Kurt Rambis as a Laker is not in the set within the first 100 cards issued, what is the point?

I see your Rambis, and raise you a Gilmore, Artis that is. Haha.

UD has NHL rights still though…I’d love to see NBA

I didn’t realize Upper Deck still has the NHL license. I assumed Fanatics had just purchased everything.

Speaking of NBA, which design year would you like to see for an NBA LS? Would you want them to only choose from past Topps designs, or choose the most iconic basketball set?

NBA IMO should be the 1957-58 BK design

I like that design.

Topps has some nice later designs, but too many of the sets were issued as taller cards that don't work for most collectors. With the 1957-58 design, it would allow the artist to put the focus on the player without being distracted by the card design. What do you think about portrait versus action shots? I really like the look of the portraits with MLB LS, but I think action shots would be a nice change of pace.

I really like the use of the nickname in quotations. I wouldn't mind seeing that implemented in a football and/or basketball living set.

This set really is quietly building towards being the greatest comprehensive MLB card set of all time . Consider the following things which can create a perfect hobby storm :

1) It’s on pace to be the most comprehensive historical player set ever produced .

2) The print run is relatively low for anyone trying to start building a complete set .

3) The cards have amazing original artwork by respected artists .

4) The set has symmetry in that the set has a consistent and uniform design .

5) It has rare parallels in the form of the full prints .

I can’t think of another set that is comparable. Long term I think those who have overlooked it will be kicking themselves . I challenge anyone to find me a comparable . It simply doesn’t exist .

I agree. And nice active group here to add to unique collection. Another master piece from Jared on Big Papi. Long live the MLB Living Set.

Absolutely!

This set literally got me back into collecting when a friend shared the Sandberg card with me in 2018. I immediately began ordering weekly, and haven't stopped since. The addition of the prints and artist signed cards offered by Jared and Wheeler have also been fantastic inclusions. There truly is no other set like it.

I think the only sport we disagree on is baseball.

I figured if I'm going to post examples, might as well be teams I root for.
