Thanks! I’ve had it a while now, maybe 6 or 7 years?

2 mvps and now World Series and is just out of 20s

To be honest I’m not sure what gets his cards moving

I guess winning World Series and 3rd mvp ?

Seems like he has to do a lot more on the field then most to get stuff to move

Harper is also a victim of not having a clear, go-to RC. Over the last five years I kept telling myself to get some Harper cards, but his 2012 stuff always felt a little impenetrable to me.

Does everyone talk about Harpers RC because the 2011 BC prospect auto is less popular or just more pricey. I must admit I got back into collecting in 2011 to get the Harper 2011 BC and was fortunate enough to pull 5 base autos and 2 gold /50 autos. The golds came one from a hobby box and the other from a $10 Topps Value boxes (my avatar image) those are the all time greatest boxes ever with the (5) Topps Update packs I literally had 55 Trout RCs I sold 50 for $2600 back in 2012/13. That still hurts as I look at stacks of Altuve, Goldy, etc I used to have literally 50 plus Trouts. I kept all the cognac, silver and gold numbered so I do have something to show. (Sorry, I cannot escape seeing Harper mentioned without Trout but those red value boxes had both).

Anyways, I’m assuming his 2011 BC Prospect auto is greater than his 2012 RC auto? Am I incorrect? And yes, I know the buyback auto of 2010 might be his most valued but I still love what brought me back to the hobby which is his 2011 BC cards.

Here's mine. What's the estimated print run of these? How much do you think one on the market would sell for? You NEVER see these cards on the market. Last one was a PSA 9 and sold for around 5k on June 25th.

Nice! The 2012 image variations were rare, I don't know an estimated print run..but in 10 years, PSA has graded 7 base and 4 refractors of the Harper, and BGS has also graded 7 base and 4 refractors (were any crossed over? Who knows)..there were 20 total SP Image variations on the checklist...seeded at 1:912 packs, or 1:38 boxes, or about 1 per 3 cases, a Harper would be about a one in 60-case hit if the SPs were evenly printed. List of players below, also--a good article on the SPs:

https://www.cardboardconnection.com/...n-short-prints

1 Tim Lincecum
10 Justin Upton
28 Roy Halladay
30 Josh Hamilton
49 Alex Rodriguez
70 Stephen Strasburg
75 Jose Reyes
80 Albert Pujols
84 Derek Jeter
87 Jacoby Ellsbury
93 Justin Verlander
100 Ichiro
110 Troy Tulowitzki
120 Matt Kemp
151 Yu Darvish
160 Matt Moore
170 Jesus Montero
173 Brett Lawrie
180 Yoenis Cespedes
196 Bryce Harper

I think his Topps Finest RC is a pretty solid choice. You can find them ungraded for less than $30. Graded, they tend to be three times that.

That’s not bad at all. Thanks for the info! Let’s hope the WS stays in the NL East this year.

I’ve seen print run estimates from 20-50.
Also harper is the only SP with a refractor. So did topps make half of the print run refractors? Or print some extras as refractors?

14 totally graded by PSA/BGS tells as at least one thing. This card is crazy rare.
I’d guess the run is probably around 25-30.

If you’re interested in selling yours, it’s probably a good time!
