I can't wait for Update and Topps chrome when everyone buys Jumbo and they switch it up and all the big hits are in Hobby for Topps Chrome and Retail for Update just to keep people guessing which format is going to be the best for each release.

That said I've watched several Jumbo case breaks and yeah every 4th or 5th case might be really good but the majority I've watched were mehhhh. Yes lots of color but mostly of the wrong guys, don't matter if you pull 8 golds, 2 indepence day, 2 black /72 etc... if they aren't one of the top Rc's or the 5 or so major name vets. Lot of people gobbling up cases that are going to take a bath. For every great case I'd imagine there will 3-4 dead cases.

The prices that breaks are selling for on Ebay is ridiculous. I'm just looking at Red Sox team breaks and there is really no rookies of note or any chase other then autos. People paying $60 for a spot to get a bunch of paper cards that will be worth ten cents.

I watched some jumbo breaks and some hanger breaks and honestly the jumbo didn't really seem that much better to me. I went with my original plan and picked up a couple hobby boxes today at the LCS and will finish out what I don't get for my 2 base sets with hangers.

I think their turn around has been less then a week for months but maybe that will change with pricing special

Pulled a Jose Altuve Reverence Patch Auto "Gold Parallel" redemption. Parallels are on checklist as only red/5 and platinum/1. Thought the gold must be the regular version/10, but I see a Judge Redemption that doesn't say "gold." Wonder what this is numbered out of....7? lol.

Oh and fun fact: it was an extra hit in a jumbo box and was the very first card (on top) of the pack.
