This! I love doing this to this obnoxious turd!

That is because the people who donate the cards set the prices.

I think the Charity account usually accepts 50% offers.

Ha! I'll take that as a compliment!

It's not just the little pellets either. I imagine the Brett port wasn't cheap. I think Pac-Man may have cleared the screen of all the ghosts and floating fruit

Been waiting for the yellow advisory at the top about delayed shipping to be removed from COMC so I can get some of my beloved cards home to me lol. Wonder how long it will take for things to get back to speed.

The way they’ve been running, probably never. I’m waiting to request shipment of my cards but I know it’ll still take forever to finally get them once I do.

Can anyone explain what happens when items sell for asking price during a Port Sale?

Is the Port updated to reflect the change in Inventory & SRP/Sale Price/Asking Price?

Doesn't seem to be?

I don't really know how often the sale page is refreshed. What I do know is that after you make an offer, if a card sells before the port owner accepts, the owner can no longer straight accept your offer. They have to counteroffer you and the counteroffer will show you which cards were sold in the meantime. So you will get notified if a card in the port sells.

you can totally tell when a name was mentioned in a broadcast...

Thursday night all the Topps Chrome Randall Cobb's id picked up for under $0.20 sold for $0.75 each, then last night my Aldon Smiths that I got for under $0.10 each sold for $0.40 each

I picked up quite a few chrome RCs over the summer of guys still in the league or recently in the league usually for under $0.20 and have done quite well with them, Mark Ingram, Jarvis Landry, there were quite a few guys that I found for $0.05-$0.25 that have sold for $0.40-$0.75, and I have hope for others...like Sammy Watkins...I picked up 54 for $0.25 or less, and now the cheapest on COMC are up to $0.37 after his TD...

have a number of Prizms of guys that people probably forgot about, fingers crossed on Corey Coleman

Is there any really value in paying for faster shipping with COMC. I don’t want to pay extra for shipping speed just to have my cards sit another 2 months.

If you do a rushed service it's much quicker than economy.

Running a sale currently on all of my cards with many up to 85% off and also testing a port sale for the first time. 1500+ cards from the 50s-current with many vintage 70s of all sports included.

Thanks all.

I bought about 700 cards back in May and they had an expected ship date of August 26th. They still haven't shipped.

Just had a new (for me) frustration, which I can't believe is the way it is supposed to work. I have a port for sale and ACCEPTED an RFP offer to sell it. Nothing happened. Then this morning, I received a note that the buyer did not accept my offer. Huh? So submitting an RFP isn't binding like submitting an offer? That's ridiculous...

Is their account still active? Maybe COMC locked them out? Definitely not supposed to work that way, as the RFP is supposed to be a binding offer that you can immediately make good on once accepted. You didn't sell a card in between and counteroffer? Contact COMC and ask what happened, and whether this is a bannable offense for the buyer.

And my due date was pushed back again. I have plenty of football waiting to be uploaded that I could have sold rather quickly. I have some decent baseball RCs I could have sold rather quickly. This is beyond frustrating. They added some from sets that I have others not added yet, it just doesn’t make sense how they are doing this. My batch was 195 cards FFS and it’s already 4 1/2 months overdue with a due date a month away now. They have absolutely no incentive to get it done, especially with these other idiots still sending them stuff daily. Christ I just want to be done with them but they won’t let me.

Thanks for the help. Just sent COMC a note. The user is still active, so that can't be the issue. I did not counter, but just accepted. Looks like there was one card that sold between when I accepted and now (which I didn't think would be possible). Sigh... Will see what they say...

I really wish COMC would do something about shipping. It's a major issue. My sales have been slowing down to a crawl and I haven't been purchasing as much knowing my cards will never make it to me this year.

Are we watching a business bleed out and slowly die?

That may be the problem, and one that COMC would need to patch. Any time a card is purchased, the entire port sale is held up, until the offer is remade and re-accepted.

A few shipping questions recently...my recent experience is as follows:

8/31/2020 REQUEST SHIPMENT
PRIORITY RUSHED $82.79 (about 100 total cards, $0.25 per added in, many are graded cards and all others had top loaders added)
9/21/2020 DELIVERY ESTIMATE
9/14/2020 ACTUAL SHIPMENT
9/15/2020 SCHEDULED DELIVERY (keep in mind I am only 10 miles from where it was shipped from so your delivery time may vary)

USPS Tracking says it will be delivered today, we shall see but I am excited to get it all in hand. I had planned to wait until this was all over to have everything shipped but when I looked an the overall numbers/cost (and a few of the purchases that I just can't live without), it made sense to ship and hope that it all went well - so far so good.

Why does this misnomer continue to get repeated over and over with nothing to back it up? I put in a shipment order a week ago that is scheduled to arrive today and I live entirely across the country.

I did receive my shipment today - so about two weeks from start to finish. I am just fine with that and it is packaged very well.
