Just a guess, but he is probably selling because of all his lost revenue during COVID. With no major live sports, his packages are probably not selling. He probably NEEDS the money to keep up with his lifestyle, but would never admit it

If this does sell for 3-5M what do you guys think it will do to the value of the other cards? The Orange 10 just sold for 344K so does that get another bump? What do you think happens with the Gold and Blue and after the orange sale what do you think the price of a 10 Gold or Blue are at now? Did the Blue go up to 100k? Curious to hear opinions.

A red sold back in May for over 900K. That set way for the Superfractor. Now it seems unreasonable to expect it to go below a certain amount. All colors of this card should go up because of this at least for the moment, yes. In fact I think all Trout cards should see an increase. The earlier the card, the better the increase. So a 2019 Finest might see an increase but probably not worth buying a bunch in hopes to resell and profit. 2012-2014 certainly will see an increase on top of the already growing trend they've been having. Just my opinion and some might disagree. Although I think we'll all agree the Superfractor is going for no less then double what the red sold for in May and I think that'd be a disaster at that price.

That's too bad and sad that people who are so well off just waste their money like that. Although I'm sure they have fun in the process but too much fun isn't healthy. I guess he gets to say he made X off the card to help his business. He did buy it at like 400k not that long ago. All the oranges of his go up too. What I hope doesn't happen is he is forced to sell his oranges and floods the market and undoes all the price increases.

Well he bought it for 400K and if it sells for 3M he'd have to pay taxes on the 2.6M which which would be approximately 945K I believe (just estimating as income) so he walks away with 1.6M in just a few years. Not bad, plus selling the reds and orange I think he did pretty well for himself and I think most people are actually going to be happy that he is getting out of the Trout card game.

he's lost a lot of $ from COVID, but I'd be shocked if he was financially struggling. He's dialed down his lifestyle antics since he got engaged.

I bet he's just locking in the massive gains and putting the $ to use in other ways (he buys a lot of property in Mexico).
