I was going to an estate sale this morning, but when I got to the address they had signs saying no parking in driveway, and no parking on street, so I didn't stop. I'm not sure where they thought people could park, but I saw nobody there when I rode back by around lunch.

Unless I'm missing something, which is possible lots of "odds and ends" pieces to the larger toys that are super expensive and easy to miss, but I'm going with a hard pass on that lot at that price.

That is awesome. Used to own one but the noises really do get annoying after the initial charm wears off.

At an estate sale I cleared out a closet of about 50 vintage Wrangler Western shirts, $70 for the lot.

Feels good to be back at it.
Great pickups!

Paid $0.99 for this recently.

People kept walking past it and ignoring it, but we grabbed it and BIN was hit.

Question: You have an item up for auction.....sells for 50$.....buyer doesn't pay. You're unsure if it's actually worth the $50 the buyer bid on it and the buyer never ends up paying for the item. Do you: A) relist with a BIN of $50 or lower the price and take less?

I list it the exact way I listed it the first time in most cases.

If somebody were to reference eBay prices, not that this was the case here b it appears prices might have been similar, I’m gone. For me, you don’t get eBay price selling on Craigslist or yard sales, barring someone having certain collection. You want eBay prices, sell on eBay.

Just my opinion.

Yea seeing someone reference ebay prices is always a red flag for me not to really even consider buying anything. A sale I went to this weekend while on vacation had a posterboard where they posted pictures of sold ebay listings and they wanted close to the ebay sales price. $100 for used video game consoles, $10 for used video games, etc. Not a surprise that they hadn't sold any of the major items at their sale by that point. So frustrating to show up at a rummage and knowing you have no chance at getting a decent deal.

My thought is always you want eBay prices, sell on eBay. You deal with shipping, fees, listings, issues. People want there cake and to eat it too. Which brings me to another point, how does that saying make any sense, of course you buy a cake to eat it.

My best finds of the weekend were probably what I found for free on the curb. I went to a rummage that said it was still going on for a couple more hours but they were already closed up. Myself and a couple other vultures were picking through the remnants left on the curb. Found a witch with cauldron candy dish and a sealed scrapbooking edger. I am thinking they might be worth 5-10 each but hey it was free.

However then across the street another lady was putting out stuff on the curb and so I was the first one over there. The first thing was like a 12 piece set of nice dishes from Target Home Collection, figured I could use those for myself (a couple had slight chipping on the edge but no big deal). Also she put out a complete unused Hallmark brand scrapbooking kit that has a $50 pricetag on it (still need to go through to make sure it is complete and has no water/moisture damage. I assume it is complete as it still has the original foam padding inside). However then she put out a box of purses that looked on first glance to be decent so I tossed those in my car. Turns out there are two Kate Spade handbags and two Coach handbags. Besides a couple needing a rubdown they all appeared to be in very good condition for being used. After looking at sales prices I am thinking I may end up getting about $100 between all of those bags when it is all said and done.

Wish I could figure out how to post pictures on here as I would show everything I got but with photobucket now charging to host I don't know how else to post since my understanding is I can't upload a picture straight from my computer.

I use IMGBB, then once uploaded click the photo in the post bar and put the code in. Just remember to resize the image because default is insane. BTW nice scores on free stuff. Our nice local flea market opened this weekend but I had prior commitments to deal with. Next weekend, please don't rain lol.

Also, if you use the app, for like 10-15 bucks a YEAR only you can upload pics and gifs directly from you phone, just like texting.

Honestly it’s better than any off site image hosted, even free ones. It’s so fast, the time saved is worth double or triple the yearly cost!!!

I won an auction lot for some vintage MRE rations recently for under $50 and already sold about $440. So be on the lookout if you see any sealed ones in your area.

I have been finding lots of legos but the thrift are raising the prices. I take my boys and we look for vintage western or knights and have been trying to put the set together. It has been tough since some stores have close to 20 bags of legos around $5 and up so I don’t need all of them just certain parts. We did just find one almost complete western sheriff’s office.

If anyone has and western, let me know.

Nike SB Dunk “dream team” red/gloss white. Like 9/10 condition wise. Size 10
Morbid threads pleather pants size 40/34 original tag was barely holding on but these have been discontinued for like 20 years. Very odd find.

Ten bucks. Sure why not.

Default Thrift Shop Pickups

Man am I getting a lot of “my item hasn’t arrived yet and it’s past the date”. Granted these are all medial mail so I wonder if that’s the biggest reason, but man is it annoying responding to these all the time.

I sent a item priority from Allentown, PA to Scranton, PA which is a few hours. It left Monday with a scheduled delivery of Friday!

Listed the pair of sneakers I found, within the first few hours I've received multiple "will you take X for it" messages. Mind you there isn't a buy it now option because I don't know what they're worth. Is this normal?

For something that is desirable and probably worth me than the offers from the multiple messages, yes.

I have had it happen, just means they are often trying to lowball you to steal the item and wanting to do it outside of Ebay. DO NOT RESPOND to them. Ebay could see it as you soliciting an off Ebay and slap you for it. Seen it happen to a few sellers before.
