45 total. But I sent anything that I thought was at least a 9. So pretty good sub. Selling all the Chronicles base and Optics. Keeping all the Status gems and parallels. Should get a very nice return from everything Josh is selling for me by the end of the month.

I’m always looking for nice Luka, but have been spending mostly on MJ.

How's people's luck with grading these cards that aren't pack pulled and come direct from Panini? With the Luka first year on card stuff being on the move, I'm considering sending to PSA

I can only speak to Immac. Nice cards. The surface is the killer on these, so if you get a 9 thats a huge win. Inspect surface tilted, back corners/edges. If they dont like great to naked eye, just keep sealed.

Don’t think it matters for a condition sensitive issue like that.

Origins is a slightly thicker card and Panini used a one-touch case too small for mine.. so check yours too. In the long run the lid could get stuck to the surface and it would be a shame to ruin it.

I don’t like grading cards that are sealed by panini. I think they get a premium compared to pack pulled cards.

I've started to also send in anything I think might be a 9. I don't think it holds true for all cards, but for Lukas, the cost/benefit of submitting anything that might be a 9 seems to favor doing so.

If you got an 8 would you crack it out?

I got a CNY 8 and a Status base 8 in this batch. Going to give away the Status to a neighborhood kid and keep the CNY in the slab. It’s definitely a fair 8.

I have been buying his euro card 2016 and 2017 both auto and non auto all through out the beginning of the year. I have amassed about 10 of them and I keep adding if I can get a 2016 non auto psa 9 for 1500.00...His autos have really taken off. These cards will soon lead the luka market.....Probable the only real cards that there is no doubt that he actually signed....those signatures above on those cards I really cant say...sorry

Numbered stuff in blasters is extremely rare. It would be better to just buy the Luka blue you want

I opened tons of blasters (back before people cleared them off shelves) and never pulled anything numbered. Better off buying what you want.

I pulled one numbered Luka from retail, but I think they were definitely very hard to hit. Also keep in mind that it's only one of the random paper (Classics or Score, can't remember which), so the "blue" isn't really noticeable. If you were thinking of the popular chrome blues (Phoenix, Crusade), those are Hobby only

Fat pack boxes have 48 total RCs (base and parallel). I didn’t open any that had 0 Luka, but it’s possible. I did open some that had a base and parallel. Definitely worth it at $300.

Yeah - I only opened 2 of the Fat Back boxes. Got 4 Luka in one and 2 in the other. The other rookies help as well.

Math says you'll pull slightly less than 1/box. I think it was either 36 or 48 rookies per box (you can check this easily by watching a break) with a 50 card rookie checklist. I'm scarred because I managed to open 2 boxes and 0 Lukas and 1 Trae

Can only get pink #/75 of crusade, obsidian, phoenix, and optichrome rookies in blasters.

And the "hobby" parallels (red, blue, purple, gold, etc) of Rookies and Stars.

Don't chase the blasters for a Luka blue - they aren't in there (well, except for Rookies and Stars blue but no one really cares about those).
