So It looks like I’m going to go hitless on my BCP spot (not even a sky blue yet) and my Prospect Auto Spot (0 hit with 4 cases left) even though he has base and every possible colour (for the Canadian fella) currently on eBay. I’m not worried about the 20 case break but since collation is the culprit here and all 120 cases likely came from the same batch I don’t have much confidence in things turning around later.

Anybody else share these concerns on collation, it seems worse than ever this year, or am I overthinking this?

Also…Congrats to those that are on the positive side of the wacky collation!

I saw the response and I agree with everything you said. Just want to state again that I have No complaints about going hitless, thems the breaks sometimes. Collation is a concern this year more than any previous year. There is still obviously a long way to go so I’m also going to press on and enjoy the show…

Expected to go hitles in auto spots for my rookie and sights on september, but not in the color for the insert spots. Was hoping for at least 2 so far , but this is ugly

collation is the worst ive ever seen. also seems like topps frontloaded the crap out of some guys. I’ve now seen the manuel beltre super auto, 2 red autos, 1 red lava auto, 3 oranges and a ton of golds pulled and i dont even watch that many breaks

You may have gotten a Lunar Glow or Atomic refractor since they don’t recap those, unless you’ve watched every pack opening.

Yeah, it feels like instead of inserting everyones Autos into the hoppers together they only loaded certain guys’ Color autos. When the hoppers emptied it was onto another batch for the next X number of cases. Obviously there should always be disparities when some guys sign 5,000 and some sign 500 but this year the disparity is laughable.

This is correct. I'd have tracked these too but if they don't make the recap, I don't track em.

Over the last few years, I've seen a big difference between the hobby vs jumbo boxes for auto collation. Since these are ALL hobby, not so sure some of the goose eggs catch up. That is the gamble assumed when pre-ordering, buying in the blind, etc. Hopefully luck will turn for some of you all, most of those spots are one orange or better from being square!
