Man LeBron looks awful. So lazy on defense, has given nothing offensively outside of a few fast breaks. The Lakers could be tied at least right now but LeBron has missed multiple defensive rotations already.

And no reason for AD to be leaving Jokic wide open

I don't think it's that bad but regardless of what happens today, they don't look like contenders. This LeBron won't be the same as the one in the WCF (if they make it so far), they are gonna need way bigger contributions from the other guys.

I don’t even see who’s gonna step up. DLo? He’s looked pretty good so far. Reaves has looked pretty good.

They’re getting destroyed on the glass and have no big man depth

Lakers look much better when Lebron is on the floor though…

Pretty much same story as usual...bench is atrocious

Albeit 1 game sample size ofc

Rui and Vincent couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, doesn't help AD went sour after a solid preseason

I’d have to check but I think he spent a lot of his time when Jokic was on the bench.

I think most of the lakers bench peaked in last years playoffs and everyone thought it would carry forward

confused.... and he's still looking old? There have been a lot of clips of him recently eating popcorn while Reaves or sumink makes hustle play of year.

I didn't say that would happen, just that they will need that to go far.

I think they'll need a Hail Mary trade at the deadline. You can win a title with LeBron/AD as your top two but you need a much better supporting cast. Even Phoenix looks better right now.

Weird 2nd half. Probably injured again already.

The real problem is getting 24 points in 70 minutes from reddish, Rui, Vincent, and wood.

To be fair..not all on him, he only took 5 shots the whole 2nd half..

Granted he missed all 5, but still...I'd rather him take shots than rely on Gabe Vincent and Rui chucking shots

He did have some sort of cut on 1 of his hands earlier in the game...so not sure if that affected anything though

It is kinda sad AD hasn't put together an MVP season yet. I was hoping this could be the year. But he's still so soft.

In saying that, it's game 1 of the season and Denver still look hungry enough. Jokic still looks like he'll clown this Lakers squad all day every day. They'll probably meet in the 1st round this season.

Hopefully the Dubs roll the other bunch of cupcakes next.

True #1s demand the ball. He is a 1b that LeBron keeps saying he will allow AD to score more... but AD is fine to just disappear. He hopes no one will notice.
