I would say pass. I think you're better off getting a Prizm PSA 10 and an Optic PSA 10 than that to be honest.

Value is probably fair, but it's not highly sought after

I’ve spoken with the guy, I’m sure you could get it for far less. 5kish. Doesn’t have the upside that others do. And it’s a sticker. Can put 8.5k into much better things as others have said above.

Keep telling yourself that. I'm neither a bully or a troll (in this instance anyway), there's an entire thread here where people can examine the behavior of both of us. If you think I'm somehow in the wrong on this it just shows your inability to look at things from an unattached perspective. Stop being crappy and people won't need to point out that you are crappy.

I've literally already pointed that out. Lying about the amount offered on an item, lying about PMing a member and then going off on them when they put you on blast, changing your listing to be more accurate when called out publicly, and asking a seller to cancel an item you won/retracting bid on same items after making a post in this thread stating you thought the items were a good buy. If you don't think that's crappy behavior, that's your opinion and I can't stop you from having it, but I'd say most would disagree. Either way the information is available to all to make their own decision.

I never lied about an offer received on my tie-dye. I was simply hoping to find some advice from somebody here as to whether it would wise to take 30k. The buyer ended up talking me down to 27,500.
I didn’t lie about the pm with randino. I must’ve forgot to hit send. Either way why would anybody put me on blast for listing a card I just bought after having it described to me as gem that I didn’t think was gem? When i listed it I disclosed that I thought it probably wouldn’t gem. That is called being honest. I updated the listing on my own accord when I had time. It had nothing to do with BO.
I own a couple rookie intros and still think they are a good buy for smaller profit margins. I own many cards discussed on this thread. Have you ever cancelled a bid or asked for a refund? I’d bet you have. I rarely retract bids or request refunds. Doing so doesn’t make me a liar.
You, sleeper, need to get a life. You are immature, angry and aggressive. You did this same thing to pcp and accused him of pumping. You even made a BO thread talking trash about him. All the while, you’ve been on this thread pumping your agenda. Rightfully, BO removed your BS thread and that should give you some idea of how your behavior sits within greater etiquette. So let me get this straight. I bought a card hoping it would gem. I received the card and determined that the odds of it gemming were slim. I decided to sell the card because i didnt think it would gem. When i listed the card, i stated that it gemming is improbable. How is that crappy?

You originally stated it would probably get a 9 with a chance at a 10. Now your post says it will probably get a 9 with a better chance at an 8.5 than a 10. That's a pretty big difference. l have no dog in the fight but the change did coincide with the member stating that the card wasn't what you represented in your original post.

This was my point as well, no other football player has ever had 2nd/3rd year cards demand a premium. You can talk about Brady being in that category, but until recently his 2nd year/3rd year cards were never like this. I mean, just recently his 2002 Topps Chrome cards have hit $1800.

Mahomes is pretty close to the one player demanding that premium though. I still don't understand the fancy on 2012 Prizm cards, but whatever floats people's boats.

But 2013 Prizm Russell Wilson isn't demanding a premium. Deshaun Watson 2018 isn't demanding a premium.

Nobody could have expected all Mahomes cards to just explode like they have been.

$3,000 for a 2018 Prizm silver? Nobody could have seen that back in March. Nobody. People probably thought maybe it could be that like a Brady refractor of Topps Chrome, but there already? Damn.

Pretty much we are in the territory almost any Mahomes card is worth holding onto. Going through some 2019 Optic I opened, found a Mahomes base. Immediately went ahead and toploaded it.

Everything you mentioned is exactly to the point I'm speaking about... we are in the middle of a shift in the hobby. Some of the old rules don't apply.

Yes, Brady and Mahomes are the two guys who's non rookie stuff has skyrocketed the most, and that's because they are the two guys that people are getting FOMO over at the moment. Just watch and see what happens if Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson wins an MVP or Super Bowl this year. I can guarentee you 2013 Wilson Gold and 2018 Watson Silver/Gold will go through the roof. It's already happening a bit with Lamar.

And as for the 2018 Mahomes Silver 10..... I paid $500 for one of these back in April/May, which was more than it had ever gone for publicly. So while I didn't see it going to $3k this fast, I wasn't surprised the least bit when it hit $2k.

I do think it will get a 9. I do think there is small chance i could gem. Randino was basing his assessment off of really bad pics the original seller sent him while the card was in a one-touch. Neither of the major things he thought might be wrong with it were actually reality. He thought there was a big scratch by the T in “The”, there isn’t. He thought the edges were lifting, they aren’t.

I don't know what to tell you if you think that's a great defense and that I'm angry. I'm not, I don't get emotional, I'm not bothered at all by whatever names you'd like to call me. Again, there's an entire thread here that people can go through and look at our respective behaviors, I'm not worried about being the one that looks stupid. As far as pumping, that's a riot, I don't even talk about my favorite Mahomes card that I picked up and why I think it's great because I don't want to come off as hypocritical. I've talked to some people in PMs that have asked, but that's about it. And doing something productive? I think shedding light on scummy pumpers and liars is pretty productive for the "hobby" or business, whatever you'd like to call it. I've dealt with scumbags before, so I'm now hyper vigilant when I see signs of it.

I don't do basketball, but have the print runs for basketball always been much higher than football? It seems like there's a HUGE discrepancy in the print run of Prizm football and Prizm basketball. Can any basketball guys chime in?

I won't get a timeout for stating facts, I'm not worried about that. I'm fine with leaving it alone, the information is out there for everyone to see and they can make their own decisions. One thing I'd like to point out though is that it is not personal, I'd call out anyone in this thread that was displaying that pattern of behavior (as you can see by my track record.)

Significantly more basketball, but in fairness, there is greater worldwide demand for NBA. But the difference is significant. This chart shows the number of cards graded by PSA for 2017 NFL, 2018 and 2019 NBA. With less time on the market, you can see how much more NBA is graded and thus we can assume how much more NBA is produced. I would guess there is 10x as much NBA produced.
