At least I kept the Independence Day PSA 10, but man I wish I could turn back the clock.

I just thought it was humorous to hear the slang word from a translation. There are probably full clips of the whole media session viewable by now, for anyone interested.

I think it would have been a bigger mistake the other way around. The indie has lapped the black in value recently. Some bozo on FB groups trying to get $10K for a 9. He's delusional, but the 10 is a five figure card.

When I sent my 700 and us1 blacks into psa a few years ago, I would’ve sworn that at least some of them would’ve gemmed. But the highest I got back was 9’s. A few 8’s. And one 6, I think. I think the jersey number was an 8. None of them were altered - most were acquired shortly after S2 and Update releases while people, myself included, were chasing Acuna, Soto, and Gleyber

Those are two cards at the TOP of their grade class. Very glad they landed in great hands!!

It was a solid 2.5K range card, but a lot of enthusiastic bidders with limited knowledge have really bid them up, beginning with the US1 version where there are more than two copies of a 10 and a bunch of dirty 9.5s.

My terapeak skills are weak. Last sales I can find were mid April $1300 and end of May $1500, both raw. Now this guy is asking $12k obo?

Yeah. It's that kind of market. I've stopped listing. Will let stuff sell that's up, but taking a break. Way too many people trying to make a quick buck.

Something I've been thinking about is Othani's Sapphire options.

The 2018's sell quite well, for big dollars.

Although Ohtani has a lot of RC options, not many sapphire. Perhaps the 2019 Sapphire Rookie Cups will grow in value?

Totally up to you! I would think a 9.5 would have a decent chance at a 10 but with PSA these days you never know.

I was just looking on 130point, and I was super excited to see what Ohtani RC base cards are selling for these days on Ebay. At this rate in a few years I will be able to make a 1 for 1 trade for Trout RC cards! Who knows maybe in a few years this could even look like a lopsided trade!
