I think eventually there will be a few outliers of base cards from expensive sets(NT, Flawless, Noir) that become sought after as time goes on. Not all but definitely a few. Similar to the Ex-2001 base cards people like now. Even a 2nd year NT Luka base goes for $500 now. If Luka gets his awards and chips that NT rookie base could be big. You don't see them up for sale very often either.

In hindsight, selling my BGS 9.5 for $600 has been my biggest Luka regret.

Nobody really pays attention to the SP base cards but Noir are always my favorite, especially 2018 when you can pair them up. 2019 design is dumb, the Icons look great but associations look meh and they don’t tie together at all. Anyway, here’s my Luka set, aesthetically one of the favorites in my collection

LOVED 2018-2019 for this reason. Have one of each Giannis gold /10 and they look incredible together. Beautiful cards!!!!

Getting back on track with Luka talk, lol but those GA’s are sweet, being the betting favorite is definitely impacting card prices. How much of that is already factored into prices? Big first month of season will be huge. We mostly are long holds for him, but if the prices go higher than the bubble prices before the AS break, who will be cashing out? I for one have everything I own rookie of Luka at PSA, going to PSA (5 cards to send) or in-hand. Lower end might go to upgrade, but not selling out. I have a Luka collection that is basically all profit considering my buy in, even the grabbed of my Blue Phoenix was upgrade from selling other stuff.

If his stuff goes even higher than bubble Luka prices early on in the season I'll be selling most of my Lukas except Chronicles #'d and Rev #'d and Optic Holo Auto.

I only have one Luka auto, but I’m with most of you that he’s likely done signing for Panini so even though it’s not one of his most desirable (Cornerstones), i think I’ll still make quite a bit of money on it in a few years.

Luka autos will appreciate, especially any on card auto. I am not an auto collector, but if I were I would own a Luka on-card already or soon because his prices are going to get insane if he truly is done signing.
