If you've got the time might as well. The payoff is well worth the wait.

Oh man! Got my blue in the mail today and it looks orgasmic in person. What a beautiful card. All the Phoenix cards look so much more better in person.

2018 Panini Contenders Optic Blue Luka just sold raw for $15k.
In September, raw versions went for $7k. PSA 10 went for$15.5k in October. I can only imagine what happens next month. |

There aren't even many PSA 8s to begin with. Most of the time there are way more 9s and 10s than 8s.

If you want it the Blue/rare stuff, best to get it now. Who knows when you'll see it again. Wonder how long that Blue Prizm PSA 10 is gonna be there.

I’m debating on biting the bullet for a silver prizm 9 now and selling off my cornerstones... damn, hard decision

PWCC with the 3 phoenix's ending tonight looks like it's going to be fun. Based on how those go, I might just have to send my green one off for consignment.

Any reason why consignment? Is it that much easier? Thanks

I don't feel so bad. I just checked the pop report and there is only one PSA 10 and four PSA 9's of the Essentials Blue. Still think it was a 10 but I'll look closer when I get it back.

Your two big benefits for high dollar stuff is much lower fees and much more exposure.
I only have 600 Ebay feedback and no Ebay store so I have lower exposure than a consigner does. Buyers are generally less likely to trust a low feedback seller than a consigner like Josh at PCSportscards. Also, for a high $ card, consigning has much lower fees. Let's say that blue phoenix tonight sells for $7k, individual fees for someone like me would be around $865. If it was consigned with Josh, fees would be $560. About a $300 difference. |
