He didn't lead in a single hitting or pitching stat last year other than Ks per 9 and many in here still claim he was robbed of an MVP by Judge.

Can we all agree (minus Yankee fans) to root for 63 in an Angels uni?

Ohtani is just excited to watch.

Ok, let's be honest here folks...in their prime...Ohtani would smoke Babe Ruth.

The Babe played his entire career drunk, while doing drugs off of call girls rear ends. He was taking puffs from his cigar between pitches.

Watching some of these morning sports shows. Certain people are losing their GD minds over the bat flip.

It's like Jose Bautista all over again

Both Ohtani and the catcher reacted like it was a 450 foot moonshot (looked and sounded like one off the bat too), but turned out it barely went over the wall. Winds must have knocked it down. lol

Ohtani in a Dodgers uni
Soto in a Yankees uni
Acuna in a Braves uni
...all in the world will be right for a decade.

That's a classic Josh Donaldson move right there.
Speaking of Donaldson, RIP his baseball career.

Man, I'm glad MLB has Sho. It would be boring without him

Last year he had a 2.32 ERA and won 15 games. He finished 4th in CY voting. Why didn’t he win that if he were so dominating on the mound? He didn’t get votes in 2021, missed 2020, He’s amazing no doubt and the greatest 2-way player we’ve seen in the regular season (hasn’t appeared in playoffs).

5 wins against non-playoff teams
2 wins against playoff teams

3 losses against playoff teams
2 losses against non playoff teams

Hardly CY caliber

As of now, runaway AL MVP no doubt.

Yes, because the V stands for 'valuable,' not 'led individual categories.' Hope that helps.

Meanwhile actual baseball fans loved it.

And Topps Now fans were hoping they somehow got a hold of the bat to make a relic card, but of course it didn't happen

For those closely following the market what is baked into current Ohtani prices? That he stays healthy and wins MVP? At this point I am wondering what would move his prices up more? 63HR? Being traded to a contender? Winning a WS after being traded to a contender? Thoughts?
