Volpe starts the second half grounding into a double play.

Thats the likely market, if so great its Hicks and Ellsbury all over again.

1 or 2 yrs max.

and yes some are doom and gloom and this thread sometimes should just be the fire-and-trade-everyone thread. Its the internet such is life.

There is no reason to give Bader and 4 - 5 year deal. Give him a 1 - 2 year deal and turn the job over to Dominguez at the end of that contract.

Well Rodon almost had his head taken off by a line drive up the middle 3 base runners in a row 1st and 2nd 2 outs after a fly out to left 2-1 Yankees.

You can blame me as I didn't turn it on before. I turn it on and Colorado scores.

I already hate Rodon.

Maybe he can re-injure his back.

I.really don’t trust Higashioka catching Rodon wish Trevino was back there tonight. Damage limited to 3 runs but you ever notice and it’s not just Yankee pitchers but a lot of pitchers are getting beat with their off speed stuff.

Would Trevino save all of those wild pitches Rodon is throwing?

At least Torres is starting the second half off hot.

Possibly, but that didn’t really hurt anyway pitch selection might be better.

On a recent podcast, Mike Francesa lost his mind about Yankee batters not taking the first pitch.

Rodon and Higashioka don’t look like they are on the same page. Looked like Rodon was barking at him.

It would be nice if we could get a good catcher sometime.

I can see swinging at the first pitch in certain situations but sometimes it’s better to take a pitch.

Donaldson can't even hit homeruns in Colorado. He's even more worthless than originally thought.

Sean Casey has his hands full with this lineup. I wouldn’t have taken the job.

About 10 years ago, the goal was to take pitches and work the count to get less innings from the starter and into the bullpen. In most cases now, the bullpens throw harder than the starter, so there's less need to do that.

Another crappy, injured veteran that was able to sell a big contract to the Yankees and then not deliver. This is why Cashman needs to go.

I don’t think fans actually realized how good Posada was for the Yankees, catcher is a hard position to find a good one, unfortunately the Yankees have one decent one and one that I can’t figure out how he lasted this long on the team.
