Interesting stat. Obviously some of those guys were probably coasting at the end, but very impressive.

I recently learned that Ohtani’s interpreter Ippei Mizuhara actually worked as team interpreter for the Nippon Ham Fighters (because they have foreign players too).
That is where the two met, and when Ohtani decided to come to US, he recruited Ippei to be his personal interpreter.
Makes things easy for Ohtani and be more relaxed to have someone he knows for more than 5 years as his interpreter.

I was at the game tonight. Yep he is really fast and it was fun to watch. I have a cool photo i took of him hitting the triple when I get a chance
