No. I collected all of the non autos. Think I only have 3 or 4 autos of him left total. Oh well.

Yeah, I haven't even listed PSA 10 Prestige or Elite Draft Picks because they're still around $65. Definitely due to go up.

Is it worth it to try to get some cheap base Mahomes slabbed if I think they’ll get at least a 9? Had fun on a road trip ripping some closeout score and donruss fat packs and pulled a few nice ones.

I think if they have a shot at a 10 I say yes. For those cards if they are a 9 at best, selling them raw will be about the same.

I'm a PSA person...usually, but when it comes to 2017 contenders, I'm leaning toward trusting BGS a bit more. PSA can be very lenient on edges. About half of the PSA 10 2017 Contenders I own have edges that BGS would grade a 9 or 8.5. Some even have a corner that BGS would give a 9. Those things in conjunction with PSAs leniency on centering make me feel like BGS is the way to go with Contenders 2017. I suppose PSA has to be a bit relative given the condition sensitivity of some releases if they want to have their label on the best cards.

Picked up this bad boy at a show today! I believe they carry Silver Prizms as well correct? Curious if the odds are pretty good to hit a Mahomes RWB.

All of the rookies in 2017 were silver prizms. There were no base/non prizm rookies.

We'll get a good idea of the market for Mahomes tomorrow...PWCC has a collection of like $60,000+ going off at auction, multiple NT's, a Flawless 1/1, etc.

Football isn't like baseball with the RC logo and all that mess. It's his first NFL card. Extremely rare compared to most of the others (ie. 81 PSA 10's vs 588 base Prizm). Great looking card. And it's shiny!

I’ve pulled 3 base rookies and a red parallel from about 20 packs, so at least it’s easy to pull. Looks like psa 10 versions sell for about 50-75.

At least it’s a fun rip with a good chance of actually getting a card.

One issue with those old fat packs (and others they have available) is that the last 2 cards or so in the pack are usually destroyed due to handling of the packs.

I snatched up a few optic psa 10’s yesterday as those seem to be primed for a bump once everyone gets priced out of his prizms
