But still an actor most of his life rather than a politician.

As for the second part, I would agree if you mean with young people who weren't old enough to live through the 1980s and early 1990s. Trump and Merv Griffin were probably the two greatest real estate moguls of the time.

He then launched a committee to investigate it with local secretaries of state to uncover this rampant voter fraud.

That fell apart.

Here we are, it's 2020 and there's still zero indication or evidence of this organized voter fraud.

Republicans kill bills trying to thwart foreign interference where there are piles of evidence from Trump's own appointees...because it doesn't include voter ID laws.

This is America.

We're number 1!

Can I get a USA chant in this house?

How about an encore of Lock Her Up!
It fell apart because those same Democratic States that a majority of people suspect have dead people or illegals voting Democrat sued the administration and/or failed to comply. I wonder what they were hiding?

Trump's greatest skill is what he called, "truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration — and a very effective form of promotion.”

He's fantastic at it and always has been. This "truthful hyperbole" helped him sell the perception that he was a top NYC real estate mogul. He wasn't, but he sold and sells himself as such.

He's a master at marketing himself, his name.

Once he got into the White House, "truthful hyperbole" turned into "alternative facts."

Add in some serious gaslighting and here we are.

He goes where the most committed crowd goes.

It's a neat narrative, not true, but neat nonetheless.

Red and Blue states were hiding behind their own state laws.

Kris Kobach, the clown who whispered sweet voter fraud nothings into Trump's ear, was the Secretary of State of Kansas and served as the Vice Chair to this silly committee. Kobach himself was unable to comply with all of the requests.

It turned up nothing other than embarrassment and failure.

The notion of wide swathes of voter fraud was a charade, dare I say "a hoax."

Nothing more.

To be honest all great politicians are good at this. Obama was great at it too.

Um, Regan was still a two term governor of one of the largest states in the country. He also was involved with the GOP machine prior to that. And if you need me to go back to the 80's to see Trump as a successful businessman then you are in some ways admitting that in his last 20-30 years, he's done better making his name into a brand than actually creating businesses.

So the guy thinking some dude tucking his dong and whizzing in the girls room is cool doesn't think a billionaire is successful. You should see my shocked face.

It trips me out that we live in a world where people actually believe that there are more than two genders. This planet is strange.

However the practice of throwing kids out in front of a serious social/political issue...people see through this. Abortion nuts...think of the children, gun grabbers think of the children, climate change, think of the children. I know this may seem cold but this doesn't convince people. I feel sorry for her to be honest because she is not living a normal kid life. She literally uses every progressive talking point in the book- capitalism- patriarchy- renewables, and does it with a scolding, doomsday tone. Of course nuclear power she poo poos, because this is a political move and she doesn't care about the environment. This is why people can't take this kid seriously.

You do realize that Donald Trump has never declared personal bankruptcy in his life? Six of his companies have declared bankruptcy which is pretty common in this country for businesses to do so they can restructure debt, get out of bad contracts with employees, issues with recessions, etc. Most of your automotive companies have gone declared bankruptcy.

Five of his company bankruptcies all had to do with his casinos in New Jersey. Having grown up in New Jersey, everything went to crap with the casinos in Atlantic City due to union labor contracts, recessions, high taxes collected by Trenton and sent back to North Jersey, other States passing laws to open casinos of their own, and the lucrative casinos open by the Native American tribes. When Atlantic City thrived your only choice for gambling was Vegas and AC.

The bathroom debate is tired. Honestly, I've never heard of a single instance where a man assaulted a young girl in a woman's restroom where said man identified as a woman. Vice versa as well. But hey, gotta make stuff up when you don't have facts and evidence to back your claims up. Culture of fear is alive and well.
Well, it happened in Scotland, but I'm sure that is not good enough for you.
