Open it up and press the search bar. You have the option to type in what you're looking for, to "Scan It," or to "Flow." Scan It allows you to scan the barcode of the book and flow lets you hold your camera over an item and the app will recognize what you're looking at. Scan It works best for books because some covers are the same but Amazon only buys back certain ISBN numbers.

Now, once you've searched a book, click on it and scroll down. Below the buy now and add to cart options, you MAY see "trade in for XXX." If that is not there, Amazon does not buy it. So far in my experience, Amazon only buys back stuff that has the Amazon Prime option. They will not buy back textbooks that are old, only typically stuff from 2012 and up. Yesterday, I found 10 books and they bought them for $71+. Shipping label is free, all you have to do is find a box, pack it up, and ship.

Make sure you read all the fine print before sending anything in though. They only want books that are in good shape with minimal highlighting and wear/tear. They'll send books back if they don't meet the requirements.
awesome, thanks for the info!

It works with any book, textbooks just seem to bring the best return. My problem is I can never get the scanner to work on my phone. Flow works great but the scanner is finicky

sweet I had an accounting textbook they wouldn't take back at the bookstore. Only $35 but that's 12 more items I can pick up.

Question about Nike shoes...

Pretty sure I found a very rare version of Jordans today. I can't find any on eBay or anywhere on the internet, so far. I think the correct route to identify them is using this number, 136064 001 00, but no luck so far. I had a couple hits using 136064 001, but those shoes are black and mine are white. Any databases out there to search this stuff? The date on the tag is 9/28/2002.

Depends on the item. I find BIN tends to maximize your profits better, but sometimes it is better to put it up for auction to sell it faster. Most clothes I leave in my store for at least 2 months before I put it up for auction, unless I need some capital to keep buying new stock then I may auction it.

Biggest key for me on selling store items is to keep listing new items daily. Even if the new items don't sell often other items will jump off the shelf.

If an item has more than 4 watchers, almost for certain that will sell during that month. The more items you have the bigger the flow of sale are going to be. I have an avarage of 10-15 items so my flow is slow but i'm ok I'm selling around 4-5 items a month.
The big sellers with 100+ items sell a ton! and I would say almost a full time selling job.

raise the price.. I do that when I see a lot of watchers and usually within 24 hours the item will sell or I will get an offer that meets or is better than the original price.

But some of my stuff is priced at what the last item sold for or if none have sold I put it at like $69-79.99 (Vintage/Retro Jackets)

I have done it many times, you don't have to raise it much. Kind of like when you are fishing and you see fish looking at your bait, then if you twitch it they strike.

I have an item right now that I list on a continuous listing. It has 27 watchers right now, I have not sold one in about 3 days so last night I raised the price .10 and have sold 4 this morning.

Anyone know much about baby clothes? I see tons of it for cheap prices, just don't want to get overloaded with it.
