What are the chances it’s trimmed? Not sure it was shilled as I don’t think the price is too terribly far off, it is Probstein though.

If everything is legit this card is just crazy undervalued IMO. /750, in full patriots uni, rookie, for $3,250 is crazy compared to a lot of his other cards.

I think one of the main issues with this card is that the majority of them seem to have been miss-cut on the bottom right. If you see a raw one on Ebay there is a solid chance the best you will get if you try to get it graded is an "Authentic" slab.

Yea, At this point I’m just hoping a 7.5 or 8 will pop up in my price range. Too risky to buy it raw.

There’s an A(uthentic) Showcase at $835 with 6 days left.

Not the best grade obviously, but still a showcase, curious where it ends up. Probably around $2k

Even around $2,500+ wouldn’t be a surprise

Considering it's still absolutely the worst time of year to be selling FB cards, I'd be surprised if it will break 25k. Yeah, 25k is still a lot of money, but considering the heights PSA 9s have soared, it's quite a dip.

Looking for some help, not familiar with what looks to be an older Beckett graded card.

Was this just slabbed as “Authentic” and if there were evidence of trimming it would have been slabbed “authentic/altered”? If someone sends a card with a min. grade and it doesn’t meet that grade, do they use this “authentic” as as an option?

Maybe. The right edges on the card look a lot cleaner than the other sides from the back. Probably where the card was trimmed.

Ended at 18,000 - yikes! Prob sold two PSA 9 examples back in May and they both ended at 27,900 and 27,200.

You think it was trimmed and they just didn’t catch it?

Again, I’m not familiar with older Beckett slabs, so I’m not sure if they used an “altered” label in years past

I think they definitely thought there was something wrong with the card that would prohibit a numeric grade assignment. To me, it looks like trimming, but there's a chance it's just an undersized card.

I'd guess trimmed. I don't see any obvious wrinkles which are the main reason people usually get Authentic labels on purpose.

yea if the seller did a min size all those years ago and got authentic

you would think they'd crack/resub for a numerical grade now bc the value has increased so much

or when it was originally assessed it was seen as trimmed

it's prob trimmed
