OL Reign set a league attendance record last night for a home opener vs San Diego. The league is really starting to take off in popularity.

They are talking about expansion. I would love to see teams in Philadelphia, Denver, and maybe Minneapolis or Detroit. They are putting a team in Utah not sure why with the way the state legislative votes.

I'm new to the sport, but isn't the Utah franchise an old one that's being "re-awakened?" I think they had to be considered due to how they ceased operation previously. (i,e, they're exercising the option to return).

Randomly got this from Topps today. I received the base card ages ago. This package was dated January 16. I have one other card that went missing around that time so maybe that will show up too!

Anyone else keeping an eye on the reveals of the She Believes set printing plates mailed out (where the recipient opens the package and shows what they got on IG)? Gotta admit - it definitely feels like those with kids who are "collecting" received quite a few of those printing plate sets in the giveaway...

Yeah. Shocking. Adults have been using their kids to get free stuff for years. Womens soccer is just the easiest since it's marketed primarily to families and their daughters in the US. I'm sure some of these kids have collections, but I'm not sure they're as excited about them as the videos depict.

Saw Bronze come off this morning, but looked like she was walking without crutches later. Hopefully not a major injury.

Chelsea has a tough road ahead on Thursday. They seemed to come out flat after half time. Absolutely no hint of the attack from the first half that was close to scoring. James and Kerr didn't seem to have the same chemistry to me. Continuously choosing the wrong pass. Hopeful they can score 2 in Barcelona, but that's a tough task.

Agreed. Chelsea had that push for the last 30 min of the first half and then had nothing left. Their injuries are not going to help them in Barca; their lack of depth is concerning against a team like Barca. I don't even know how they slid past Lyon with such a razor thin bench.

Much as I hate Arsenal, they produced a tremendous result at Wolfsburg today. Their depth has also been decimated, but they fought back well. I do feel like Blackstenius was offside with her game-tying goal from watching the replay a couple of times. Them's the breaks though.

I was at a pretty big card show in Minnesota this weekend. Only one table with any real amount of soccer cards. Asked if he had any interest in women's soccer, as I had my Trinity Rodman ROY auto with. He barely knew the name and had no interest, stating that he can move. His table never had that much activity at it while I was there, and if he's selling online, he'd see that the women's stuff does pretty well.

Needless to say, no deal was made

Pre-ordered hobby boxes will each come with a pack of NWSL Kickoff cards (4 cards per pack, 24 cards in the set, only 1000 of each card).
