Has anyone seen this thing where TS is holding a bunch of expensive Series 1 moments for later release? Any thoughts? Kind of think it’d leave me with a bad taste if I was holding any of them as investment.

Here's the issue with Top Shot, I'm already losing interest with the lack of 'product.' No interesting packs or anything, boring. I'd take a chance at a $200+ pack since I have this money tied up in Dapper for the foreseeable future.

Still bullish long-term, but these mentions have been happening for multiple weeks from some pretty influential folks and yet I believe the buyer count is still lagging behind the seller count (someone else would have to confirm that as I don't know where to find it myself). Bottom line for me is that it doesn't matter who gets involved if it's a crap product at the end of the day. NFTs/Digital Collectibles are here to stay, but TS is going to fail hard if another competitor enters their space. Saying they have been woefully incompetent feels like I'm being kind at this point.

He makes some great points. I really like the stamp story, we may not know the Mark Cuban we know today if that deal never happened. I remember my brother and I wheeling and dealing at a card show when we were teenagers.

Yes the buyer pool is stagnant because they aren’t allowing new accounts. But there have been ZERO improvements in the website on the surface. I’m sure there’s a lot being done behind the scenes but we aren’t seeing any advancement. The buyer pool will surely accelerate once the floodgates open but I’m not sure why we should be confident that they will ever have a functioning product at this point.

Due to the limitations of new memberships, it has started to lag. Prior to that announcement, it was typically +1000 with only a -500 for a very short time, that I recall, after the release of Series 2. With this not quite being launched in other countries, there is still a larger audience that has yet to be introduced. I did see discord rooms with 11 other countries listed but I'm not sure if that correlates to a corresponding TS site. We're still in the early adapters stage either way.

Well then, something happened, maybe Mark Cuban's article, maybe the weekend ...current buyer/seller difference is -250....the gap closed immensely. I did see a drop in my port with most coming from Lebron's Series 1 /3000 moment. I'm gonna go ahead and stay the course.

They have to make the site stable, and have a steady release of packs - get the site stable and you have two releases a week - one limited - best plays of the week - or big moments - and one base pack. If you can get a steady release of packs - along with a stable site that doesn't completely crash upon any release or update than I think it could potentially grow but I don't know how long people are gonna wait around to sit for an hour and hope you get one $9 pack.

You can't sell packs at the moment. I was just looking to buy the actual Cool Cats insert once people open.

The workaround some people do is open it on stream for the buyer, then buyer pays, then seller gifts the cards through the site to the buyer. Way too much work for me lol.
