Anyone think Shohei '18 Bowman Platinum RC's are a tad under the radar, or nah, not going to be a desirable set long term...

Bowman Platinum will always be the black sheep of the Bowman family but it's still licensed 2018 SHOHEI, so can't go wrong with that!

I love the photo variation sp from '18 with the bag, the poor man's version of BC SP.

The 2019 SP is also a fun shot of Sho

You would vote against a walk regression rule but you suggested it, think it would be cool and the only goal is to get rid of intentional walks. Talk about double speak.

If only German had taken the start off after his perfect game.

Well, German only pitched 5 and 1/3 where he gave up 15 ER over the 2 starts preceding the perfecto. But sure, go ahead and continue to paint German as more durable than Ohtani.

Has nothing to do with it. I'm just poking fun at you fan boyz who keep calling Ohtani the GOAT but then make excuses for him like he has to have his next start pushed back a day because he pitched a complete game (for the first time ever). And if you are going to use hitting 2 homeruns in game 2 as an excuse, maybe he needs to be a one-way player then.

It wasn't an "excuse", it was my way of pointing out that you're comparing apples and oranges.

I'd say he just needs to keep doing what he's doing. He's the best player in baseball and he's having one of the greatest seasons of all-time. And his team is...*checks notes*...above the Yankees in the standings. Shrug.

I don't get the impression Ohtani has any interest in playing for the Yankees, which makes me so happy because their fanbase is the absolute WORST.

Ohtani usually hits a homer when Snoobs posts a lot in here, lay the bet for tonight.

Go throw a bet on Acuna too, one of the two best players in baseball has to hit one tonight right?

I'd place one on hits, stolen bag, double. Don't love his homer stroke this season. But now that Im saying it...I'll be wrong tonight which is also a win for me.
