Great stuff housemiller! Art looks great on these, but the names are pretty lackluster. Am I missing something or is Manny Machado just called Manny Machado haha???

That is the "C" variation of each card, just the player's name.

Thanks guys. The "C" variations are also much thinner than the other cards. Think original GPK thin.

There are not odds on the outside of the box. There is a 15-player checklist on the back and that's about it.

FedEx just dropped off my five-pack box and I can't believe how small the packaging is. I'm likely opening it this weekend but wanted to mention the small size of the box b/c after waiting all this time it was a definite what-the-heck moment of "that's it?" I haven't held those in hand but probably smaller than that. It's the size of 2022 3D. A box of 2022 T206 is about 2/3 the size of it and it's slightly smaller than a box of 2022 Mini.

And, again, this is the 5-pack box. I'd have to guess the single pack box is 2022 T206 sized.

Would've liked a better rc numbered or sp, but this stuff was a ton of fun. I need 2a, 8a, 9b, 14a and 15 a for a base set and have a stack of doubles to trade. I'd love to knock these out in one trade if anyone's got them and looking to trade.

So my 20 showed up today, nice surprise!

Kept track as I was opening.

Collation seems pretty plausibly true random. Of course, that can sometimes hurt a bit - it took me 17 packs (85 base cards) to complete my first base set (30 cards) - and I still ended up a 9a away from a second complete set. (Now, of course if I had opened them in another order, maybe I'd have had the full base set in 10 or 11 packs. And I was planning to open them all anyway. But if I'd been planning to just open until I had a complete set, that would have been painful...)

Overall results including hits below (sorry no pics); to be updated when the other 5 packs get here.

Highlights - got both of the Keith Shore inserts (1:10 odds), though sadly no auto (1:50). Nice to get so many of the C-name inserts with no duplicates. And obviously that Soto! It's 5/10, he's my #1 PC guy, and it went straight into the grading box because it's a gem mint if I've ever seen one.

I got 4 boxes (so 20 packs) in today and one pack did not have anything other than base in it. No artist autograph, nothing crazy, got a 1/10 Ronald Removed and a couple /50 and that's about it. Wish the different foil levels looked more different from each other. Super happy with the artwork!

Remaining 5 showed up today. Nothing special, another Keith Shore portrait. The first two packs both had a copy of the 9A that I was missing to complete my second base set, go figure. Still ended up a 3A, 8B and 13A short of a third set.

Nice seeing this set hit now, I wish I didn't hesitate on ordering and missed it. Hopefully I'll be able to get a base set. I was able to order Wave 2 so looking forward to that whenever it drops.
