They got my hopes up with an Alex Wood base card ... thought maybe there was enough hype around checklist decision time to get an auto (or maybe even a dual auto with Kershaw ... I would die). But nope, just a base card. :/

For me, this is just meh. The Bellinger auto is, of course, welcome and nice but I wish the SP list was better - like Bellinger in the SP. In 15 KB was 725 and I think it has really added to the value (both intrinsic and monetary) of the card. Some good rookies, as usual, but a lot of re-tred. 4 years of no trout autos and now he's in like every release. Koufax is an all time great but he does need to have an auto in every heritage release. I love you heritage but I'm really waiting for 18 :-)

I wish Topps would put Adrian Beltre back in the Chrome checklist, it has been 2 years now without him.

Love that the Aaron, Koufax, and Yaz autos are new...i hate when they repeat same autos in low and high numbers. First time i've ever seen ripken auto (dual) in a heritage set. The sp list is pretty bland, all the good guys are base cards, but that is good for set builders. I think that means the color and actions will definitely be slanted towards the base set variations. Really looking forward to it.

Thank god for that base set and no big names in the SPs. Set collectors have taken a beating all year, so this is a really nice relief.

Really dislike that they have beni, Swanson, bregman, etc. autos in this. And then they don't have Aaron Judge? No reason for that. Wish they could have gotten some other guys in, like Paul DeJong.
Oh well, it'll still be a nice product. |

I do not think this is a very good checklist.
There are other rookies that should be on there that were called up before the All-Star break which is supposedly the rules like DeJong (Who will probably be in the top 3 in the ROY race). Also several doubles on the autograph list including the Cut Autos? No rookies on the short print list. I believe you will see pricing on cases decrease once the checklist is out a few days. The prices are way to crazy for this product anyway. Look what is happening with Topps Chrome. Really not much better than 2016. |

I wonder why they couldn't put him in the product, while they were able to put Bellinger in.

Said to many times... Do an ALL star variation ... 1-2 per case.. AS unis Harper trout bryant etc... auto Checklist is bigger then i had hoped.. its not bad not great... last year HHN had 4 autos per case... will this year be 1-2 or 4 Very hard for me not sell all my boxes for 90-100 bucks though.. just buy a master set and the autos i want... But i do love opening heritage
