Clerks on ePack 6/29

Just did 10 packs.

No autos.

No fake patches.

No "37" inserts.

Just base, foil parallels and regular inserts. It's not all sunshine and rainbows kids!

The same thing almost happened to me yesterday. I bought 10 packs and only got one hit (low end autograph). I've done better with Clerks that Aliens though. I probably spent $175+ on Aliens and only got 1 dog tag that is currently worth about $2. I've spent about $125 on Clerks and I've hit 2 patches, one 37 insert and 4 autographs (most in the $15-$20 range)

Think I'm done - that's $100 with nothing to show for it.

So I was perusing COMC this morning, picking up some autos (they are CHEAP right now...), and noticed something. Is it just me or is the bottom center auto from Kimberly Loughran extremely different from the rest? The majority I've seen have been like the others where its just a "M" and wiggly line... Cause for concern you think? or just her getting tired/lazy as the signing went on?

While the sig is different you can tell from the pen strokes that the same person did the signing. I'm guessing it's like you said and she got tired of signing. I tend to do that when I sign plans.

I have sunk way too much money into this release so I am really trying to get all the achievements for Clerks. I'm trading some of the more common autos for lots of Character Base, Walt Art and Kevin Smith Insight Inserts, and single "37" Foil Parallels on epack.

not that nobody is into these, But these cards take a back seat to Guardians 2, and will Take a further back of the bus seat once Spider-man Ultra Fleer Hits in 4 days, The Frenzy for this set is OVA. Does help that owners are selling the autos for pennys to the dollar, everybody undercuts everybody else. WAYYY cheaper to buy what you want on COMC then chase the packs IMHO

Tried 8 packs tonite as I do like the set, but most value isn't there. BUT I have a conspiracy theory on e-packs about saturday evenings, that it seems to "ramp" up a bit on hits. Tried 3x GOTG (look at other thread) and this set. Hit in the first 4x packs only a Fake Relic, but my 2nd 4 set of packs produced a Jeff Anderson auto that I wanted for pc, so very happy!

I am considering selling my Brian O'Halloran auto, the single auto Big Choice card. One guy is offering $100 for it, but I've never seen another one. Surely others are out there? But I haven't seen any on Ebay (but mine), COMC, or Upperdeck's trading pop. What would you guys sell it for?

Since I have the first 3 Clerks Achievements cards, I am trying for the 4th Achievement card too. I have to collect Rainbow Foil versions of all 4 insert sets. To do that I need to collect 10 of each insert, meld those to make the Silver Foil version, then do that 10 times to meld the 10 Silver Foils into the Rainbow Foil.

So I need 111 of each insert card to get 1 to keep, 10 to make the Silver Foil to keep, and 100 to make the Rainbow Foil.

I have a good start but I obviously need more so I am trading for inserts.

I am also trading for all Character Base Cards (#72-90).

I am making this offer and offering everything else from Clerks I'm not trying to foil up, GOTG2, Marvel Annual, Doctor Strange, and Cap 75th for trade:

Trading 1 non-Spoonaur or non-Ghigliotti Big Choice or RST Auto in my inventory for:
- 5 Character Base
- OR 25 Big Words/The List Inserts
- OR 10 Walt Art/Kevin Smith Insight Inserts

For Spoonaur or Ghigliotti autos, double the above quantities.

I've opened a few packs here and there lately, but didn't pull anything remotely interesting. . .

In fact out of a ton of packs I opened I pulled several low end autographs, 3 patches, 2 '37' parallels and a Steve Stark numbered autograph . . . Nothing very interesting, and not worth anywhere near what I've paid. . .

On the plus side I've sold nearly 150 Clerks cards on COMC for a total of $8.50. </sarcasm>

As for the why...well...they don't sell for much and instead of sending them over to COMC...I'll buy them direct and can transfer them through ePack.

Not purely selfish...more money in sellers' hands and more rainbow foils in my collection.
