Last season he put up outstanding Low Leverage stats. This season his High and Medium Leverage performances are much better. He is beginning to have vital hits. |

Was watching the game yesterday, and Keith Hernandez commented that Mets fans are great to play for "when you are winning."
I'm a lifelong Mets fan and I get that people were mad when Lindor didn't perform well in his first year with the Mets. But that was in 2021. The fact that Mets still can't fully rally behind Lindor, who has been on fire for 2 months is a problem with the fans, not a problem with Lindor. |

My 12 y.o. son got to go to NY last week with a friend and went to the Braves game Thursday night. The friend has a family member who works for the Mets and got them family passes-they were on field for bp and Lindo came over and talked to them and signed my sons pickleball racket (was the giveaway that night). My son said he was so nice and really cool.

I just struggle to understand the "he's not worth his contract!" argument because in reality...who *IS* "worthy" of their deal? For the highest paid SS, you have guys who have won WS in Seager & Mookie (who has versatility outside of SS). Then you have Correa who RISKY, and there's Trea Turner who's fantastic but future HOF worthy?
Like...Lindor is paid a lot. But that's the game now in 2024. Contracts are rising and in order to compete for superstar talent you need to pay up. I'd personally take Lindor over all of the names I just mentioned with the exception of Mookie because again, he's more than a SS. |

The 2022 Superfractor was available on Facebook a few years back. I thought about it and went back to make an offer and it was already sold.

I think he is absolutely on pace and will get into the hall eventually. Through his age 30 season he has 54.2 war which since 1940 is the third highest ever for a shortstop only behind Alex Rodríguez (81.5) and Cal Ripken Jr (65.8). If we want to take it a step further, since 1900 he is 5th all time with only Rodríguez (81.5), Ripken (65.8), Arky Vaughn (65.4) and Lou Bourdreau (58.2) ahead of him. Plus he has 6 top ten MVP finishes, two gold gloves, four silver sluggers, and is in pace for 400 hr and 250 SB. That would make him the second member of that club along side only Arod. Obviously he has work to do and isn’t a HOFer right now if he were to retire, but definitely on pace in my eyes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
