Possible? Sure.

It's usually only the first two movies of the original trilogy those type of people enjoy, and as with "Rogue One" which greatly serviced "A New Hope" by closing the ridiculous-when-accidental exhaust port weakness that allowed first the Death Star to be destroyed (in revealing Galen Erso stealth engineered that weakness into the design on purpose), this series is doing more of the same, particularly with the Mon Mothma character.

Hopefully, Mads Mikkelsen as Urso will have a scene with Luthen Rael in Season 2 setting up that very event, as its import to the original saga is next level, and it could provide one of the best acted scenes in Star Wars history, given the superb dialogue being written for this show and the quality of those actors.

Incredible episode, really awesome show. Wish they’d drop episode 11 and 12 at once cuz I feel like episode 11 is gonna have a nice big cliff hanger

Only 2 episodes left to see K-2SO unless the beach scene where he got caught was our only appearance.

He could show up in season 2 not this season.

IMDB doesn't have him listed in this season so you may be right.

The security droid he encountered is almost certainly not K2SO as it is a big galaxy and the Empire presumably has a ton of security droids. Cassian meeting K2SO has already been covered in the Cassian & K2SO one shot comic. Disney says the comics are cannon so they’re not going to contradict it in the show.

It’s a lot of great things but a big one is the they are not in the volume

The volume is great. But fett looked bad and so did obi wan at times

This show just looks amazing ….this is what I thought obi wan was going to be

This episode set everything up to more than likely happen on Ferrix in next week's final episode. My guess is the only thing that may happen not on Ferrix is Mon Mothma reaching back out for the son to daughter introduction.

I have a feeling other than that, all of the main players (except for Saw) will be on Ferrix. Our buddy Karn is back and was nice enough to steal from his Mom for what will probably be a trip to Ferrix. My guess is Casian and Luthen are heading there too.

I love how the coffee shop across from Cassian's Mom's house has a probable ISB spy in it as a customer and a Rebel in it working there and neither realize it.

I'm betting on a cliffhanger at the end of the episode, but we all know the Empire won't catch them and Luthen and his gang will escape with Cassian; might take out one of the two girls dying is my guess.

For all its grownupness, Andor is still a little rough around the edges. Vel is always Vel which seems to be really poor security considering everyone she comes into contact with. Aliens are everywhere except on Narkina 5 which is less of a statement on imperial politics than a shortcut to a more serious creature-free Star Wars. As mentioned already, it's especially silly that Cinta seems unaware of the imperial spy under her nose who never leaves the cafe even to send his reports.

I hope the producers can wrap up season one satisfactorily while fulfilling the competing priority of dragging things out for Disney as long as possible. If anyone can do it, it's the powerhouse team of Gilroy, Gilroy, and Willimon (sounds like a law firm).

I'm curious what type of weapon Luthen deployed against the two that cut them down like it was a lightsaber.

I was wondering the same thing. If that tech was available, you’d think every x-wing in the rebellion would’ve had it or more likely, every tie fighter.

Reminded me of the Iron Man “one off” laser.

I’ve disliked all the other Star Wars shows so far as they’re essentially live action cartoons. However, Andor is very good, the characters are interesting and story is engaging

I've been reading some articles on the subject this morning. It could be a kyber crystal based weapon since he had access to those somehow as he gave one to Cassian in the necklace.

Another theory (and this would just by typical for a Star Wars show ) is that Luthen was a jedi. People are theorizing that the wooden hilt looking thing that was taken from him when he went to meet Saw Guerrero was a lightsaber. There is also apparently a Jedi Temple Guard mask in his store.

I hope Luthen isn’t a Jedi. I’d much prefer that he came across those items naturally through his shop and kept the cool stuff for himself. It’s not that I have anything against a Jedi popping up, it just seems a little far fetched if an ex-Jedi would set up shop right on Coruscant if he were being hunted. He definitely is a skilled pilot, which I wasn’t expecting.

The wooden hilt item very well could’ve been a lightsaber, I hadn’t thought of that. In the books, a lot of Jedi chose wood for their lightsaber hilts especially Wookie Jedi. That’s a cool theory.

Luthen's talk with Saw was one of the high points in the history of Star Wars, acting wise. Whitaker is a master thespian, and this gem from Skargard after his effective monologues from earlier this season served to cement Rael as the surprise star of the show this first year.
Greatly looking forward to next week and season 2.

Forgive me if another member has mentioned it before, but Luthen's response to Lonni's question about sacrifice (episode 10) is great as well, if not greater.
Awesome monologue!

Wednesday can't get here soon enough. Then again, it will also be a sad day as we will probably have to wait another year for Season 2.

The last episode is supposed to have a post credit scene, so make sure to fast forward to it.

I had to wake up early to watch the finale as I couldn't wait until later. I won't give any spoilers this early, but the episode was fantastic. Another great speech which spurns action, the return of the Empire's best love story, a perfect setup to hide activity, and of course the after credit scene was a Star Wars throwback for the longtime fans. It's going to be too long until Season 2 comes out.

Solid finish, for sure.
Season 2 is about to start shooting and that will last through August of 2023, so it'll probably be 2024 before the series returns.

They also showed the first two episodes earlier tonight on regular ABC-TV so those without Disney+ could get a taste. I thought they might do that with some of their other shows, but I think this is the first one they've done it with.
Hopefully, that will work to grab some more viewers.

Ironic how Cassian helps both create and destroy the Death Star.
