Crazy. I’d think the replacements are worth 10-20x the value of the redemptions ? So confusing how they do it.

Probably just the Haliburton or the Maxey for all of that would've been fair. Crazy considering the replacements for OG Noir Autos which are better than pretty much each and every card you replaced. Seems you got a 1 for 1 trade out on every card, and I don't quite see how the Haliburton or Maxey or Davion or Lillard could've been a 1 for 1 swap on any of the cards.. .

You didn't do too bad... but considering what kingofsnake got you got absolutely shafted. Apparently they had Day'Ron Sharpes to send out... Some people get lucky and get a nice 1 for 1 trade out on cards, and others just get a random grouping of cards. Personally I think you got less than what you were waiting for. But it could've been way worse I suppose.

Anyone have any insight on how Panini selects which redemptions to fill?

I had got a /25 hoops auto of Cade and a /25 donruss of Cade. I got the hoops one about 1-2 months ago. Looks like almost every other Cade Donruss auto has been filled. At least a majority of colors. I assume they all pull from the same sticker population.

With redeeming them around the same time, thought I’d get them around the same time.

So why would panini be filling redemptions for products that came out after donruss? Photogenic/Revolution? I’ve redeemed the card before those sets even released. Thoughts?

I got an email yesterday for an incoming 2017 Donruss Redemption, it was a signature not a replacement..

I am happy to have this finally fulfilled because I have a Lamelo in the system and hope it gets replaced with something good.

Is anyone randomly getting replacements?

I had a couple (maybe 4-5) relatively small redemptions that I had gotten points for. Only one redemption left outstanding and its much larger than the other ones I had. The small ones were like Ginobili NT prime materials auto and some other random autos. The larger one is a Lamelo Donruss Rated Rookie auto.

The Lamelo is still showing as Initial, in progress. The other ones are all closed out.

But the past 2-3 weeks I've been getting a bunch of small crappy stuff (Timeless Len Elmore, Marquee Kyle O'Quin rookie auto, etc). So far have gotten 4 of these, 2 more incoming.

Absolutely no idea what these are for and since the Lamelo is still showing as open desperately hoping these $1-3 cards are not the replacement for it.

Usually higher value cards take priority and/or they tend to go by earliest submission date rather than prioritizing based on the release date of the original product.

I'm with the rest of you; I had redemptions going back to 2011, mix of basketball and football. With Panini losing the license and who knows what direction the product lines will go in, I gave up and requested replacements for all 16 cards outstanding. I've gotten 11 back, none worth posting here. I have 2 coming in to replace NT Bradley Beal autos (one being a /25 USA). I've been far more selective in breaks and boxes - if I see a redemption, I pass. I haven't had to submit one in awhile.
