Heard back finally after having to send additional pictures along with my PSA customer number to verify my identity. They aren't replacing it even though there's a crease across the back of the card and it's bent like a pringle... What a joke. I knew there was no way they had enough replacements to cover all the issues like this. I would love to know how many they actually replaced and what those looked like.

"We have a very limited number of copies available to replace severely damaged cards and because of this we are very selective as to what qualifies for a replacement.

At the moment we are only replacing Promo Cards that were treated with complete disregard of the “Do not Bend “ notice and were left with severe damage like extreming creasing and severe folding. Cards with warping issues and manufacturer quality control issues, will not qualify for a replacement.

I got my PSA magazine and it looks minty fresh as I have a wide mailbox. Got the regular cover though but I'll take it because the card is awesome! I'll read the interview this weekend too

I do, I just don't promote it much as it's just for fun and to catalog my collecting journey of sorts and try to offer as much advice as I can to collectors about things I enjoy and One Piece has been my main focus for a while. I appreciate the subscription though. It's a very basic channel as I don't really have time to put into it at all and like I said, it's for fun really.

Glad your card was ok! I still haven't read it but looking forward to it. They were supposed to send me extra copies but that doesn't seem to be happening so I may have to pick up a basic one when prices go down some.

Did anyone change their subscription and not get a new one? I changed it a couple of months ago but could not see any change. I got sports for last month and this month. I contacted PSA with an email through customer service and explained that I changed.

Yesterday I got an email and they said they saw that I tried to change but it did not go through, they changed the subscription for me. It could not send me a new magazine. They did say they would send me the promo card from it.

I was impressed with their customer service.

The card is the draw so congratulations! With the magazine, unless you got a variant, the regular magazine is $10-15 (but does have a great Luffy cover).

I'll bet they had some idea of how popular it was going to be based on new subscribers to the TCG portion of PSA. Could have just gotten tied up.

Also leads me to believe that there are a ton of promo cards still with PSA.

I still haven't found any OP-07 in the wild

I might need to "man-up" and buy a box online, or singles.

Ian: What's your recommendations for OP-07 singles?

You can get OP07 for around $120 a box or $1300 for a case so not a bad rip and we shouldn't see reprints on that for some time. Singles is still the way though especially now with lots of product hitting and people opening.

A reprint of OP01, OP02, OP05 and OP06 just hit recently and case prices have come down significantly as have singles. They also released the card list of the reprint set and lots of meta cards in there that will likely see come down quite a bit as well that is about to hit in Japan and we'll get in English in November.

I'll likely buy a case of OP05 ($1600) and OP06 ($1150) and set them back as those have dipped quite a bit but lots of their meta cards are getting reprints so value isn't quite there. Outside that I am still focused on things that aren't getting reprinted like the Super Pre Release decks and Pre Errata from OP01. I'd like to pick up a reprint case of OP01 at some point but didn't pull the trigger at $2500 and now they are back up to almost $4k.

I have been going the route of the prize card/pre errata/ super pre release for a while now fearing reprints. Wasn’t exactly expecting them to put almost all the manga rares in a new set though. I want to still pick them up at some point so I guess this will lower the cost of most of them.

There was a 1 per case Manga rumor floating around for PRB-01 which apparently was a big attempt at market manipulation hoping people would panic sell. The latest rumor is the Manga rares are actually in God Packs and are incredibly hard to hit which doesn't really impact Manga rares at all if that is the case most likely.

Found 10 packs of OP-07 at Target, actually pulled a Manga Boa Hancock so they are out there!

This set is my new obsession, my wife and I are watching the show from the first episode and she's hooked as well. What a fun rip too, love the art. Does a good job of having plenty of graphics on the card while still being a TCG. One issue I had with the Lorcana set is lack of "full art" type cards. Not the case with OP!

$4.49 plus tax, if you can find them. I came across 20 hangers, bought them all since I'm doing the full set.

That being said, this was at a random off the highway Target on the drive home from Cleveland...I've been to every Target in my home town and never see a single pack, just empty boxes.

I've dipped my toe in to opening some One Piece, and I must say the art work/illustrations alone had me wanting to get more.

I only got 1 booster pack each of OP02, OP05, OP06 and OP07 just to have a look, I really liked the cards. I'm now waiting on two starter decks to arrive, ST11 and ST19 (pre order) - not entirely sure how good they'll be but honestly just got them based on stock, price and characters etc. Also have a booster box of OP08 on pre order, but might hang on to it until I play the game a few times and understand the game play side of things.

I'm intrigued in this TCG for both the collecting and game play side, where I live in AUS the game play is still picking up locally so might be a little while until I play at a local venue.

Compared to other TCG this seems somewhat affordable, plus I watch the show so I have an interest in the characters/storyline. Having dabbled in collecting hockey cards this is a nice change

Let's hope they have a little more protection this time but I doubt it. Rather hard to ship a magazine in such a way that the postal worker won't fold it in half to stuff in your mailbox.

One Piece is the second most graded TCG now behind Pokemon and I'd bet the promo last year did help quite a bit even though the market was moving away from BGS to PSA for some time before that anyway.

Purchased and ripped 6 illustration volume 1 boxes.

Don't have any knowledge of this TCG (heard but never seen the anime too) but that configuration offers good-value.

I've listed the main contents (all promos and a couple of the full art cards) of the rips and should at least break-even.

Got my PSA issue with Boa Hancock cover and promo card - SWEET!

To get both both Luffy and Boa from one subscription is fantastic. Thanks to IanHatcher, who initially posted about the Luffy one on 5/24/24 (post #101).

I have added some really nice, but relatively inexpensive, OP TCG cards to my collection recently. I'm still collecting!
