I was impressed with how well singles, boxes, and packs did with the Shohei 50/50 set in December, in the depths of the offseason.

I would like this better if it arrived before Opening Day, but April 4th is not too far after. 50/50 showed how strong demand is for Shohei, even in the offseason.

Bought a bunch of this stuff, looking forward to it.

I was on the fence and it ended up selling out before I made a decision. I mainly hesitated because of the hit rate for autos and how Ohtani's 3x MVP might be irrelevant in the future (when/if he wins more).

With that said, those who secured boxes should do good (or at least not lose money) since it's OOS now.

I only cared for 2 of the subjects (Bonds and Ohtani).

I was on the fence, too -- I'm now regretting not getting a case.

3 MVPs is just an exclusive club, similar to milestones like 3,000 hits or 300 wins. Bonds is the only player with more than 4 MVPs, anyway. If Ohtani gets another MVP, he'll still be a part of the 3 MVP club.

Less than you'd think. Most of these on-demand/online only releases flop shortly after they drop.

I'd know, I bought way too many of these things in the past and they never hold up.

Although I'd normally agree with you, this would be the "1st" Ohtani/Bonds dual auto.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it sell for more than we'd expect it to sell for.

Looking forward to the first pack-pulled, dual on-card auto of them too.

These boxes have been selling super well for me via presale. I've actually decided to pull what I have left because of it. Autos are scarce af in it though...so we'll see how it maintains. That being said, as long as the Bonds/Ohtani auto is live, these will have decent demand.

Any of the live autos will keep the interest going in this product. And, due to how hard they will be to hit, many of the autos should stay live for awhile.

Actual Ohtani collectors are fortunate so much money is being dumped into novelty products so we can get actual great cards for less than absolute peak of the peak right now.
