Looks like they just fixed it

I also have a couple batches not fully completed yet (9 months overdue). No response from multiple emails either.

What's the current intake length and flat/per card fee to send in? I could probably put together 200-500 cards all in $1-$10 range to ship them. All the stuff in my port is epack and bought onsite

Any advice on the max amount of cards I should ship at once? I have around 50 I want to transfer out. Do they do a good job of packing or do I have to worry about damaged cards in penny sleeves? I was thinking of adding some top loaders to make the package sturdier.

They pack things just fine, but good luck getting them in any kind of timely fashion, no matter how much you spend on Express shipping. $6000 in cards and $500 for shipping for them to just go silent. Once they get your money, no one cares when your stuff ships.

To let everyone know, I did file a complaint last week with the Attorney Generals office in the State of Washington. They have assigned it to one of their case investigators, and I'm waiting to hear from them.

I think it's important to put some eyes on this company, especially those that may actually be able to lean on them. There is no excuse for their lack of shipment/response to customer concerns.

I would encourage others to do the same. A group of complaints will speak more loudly than just 1.

So I've been using COMC for about 2 months+ now, but have encountered a new issue. There's a card I'm trying to buy, and have sufficient funds, but when I click "Purchase Now" it simply won't go through. It's maddening. Why is this happening?

This happens at random times and usually lasts for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. When it does happen, I've found it's sometimes helpful to try the transaction on a different browser. For example, Chrome instead of Firefox. If it goes through on the other browser, maybe use it for a time until the issue is fixed. If not, I usually log off and do something else for a while.

My 450+ card submission due yesterday was finished yesterday. Not current year. If you send current year, you'll wait.

Yeah, for a company that deals and holds so much, I can't believe they don't even reply to emails. Imagine any other company that holds so much in valuable merchandise and not having customer service. Upper Deck even hasn't responded to my complaint. Just think how much money they are holding just for shipping that hasn't taken place. I feel like they shouldn't get paid until they ACTUALLY ship.

Are they holding that shipping money or have they used that money for something else?

Who knows what they do with the money. The shipping payment goes to Upper Deck, so not sure how Upper Deck transfers that money to COMC for the actual shipping cost and supplies. But for every person that has paid for shipping, they have your money, whether they have shipped it or not, and can do with that money what they please. I mean Upper Deck/COMC have probably 1000s of shipments pending, some people pay for shipping knowing they won't get their cards for 4 months. So all that money collected for shipments that haven't shipped is like free money.

I mean there are some huge problems here, I guess it could even have it's own thread. Upper Deck sells products and collects money for said products and for shipping. The physical cards are stored at and shipped by a "different," company in another state. You pay for a service, possibly months ahead of time, not "actually" knowing when or IF said service will take place. I also get there is a pandemic still going on, but then don't sell a service you don't know if you can fulfill. Instead, accept the request, when the request is filled and ready to ship, you run their Credit Card. It's not like they are putting a temporary hold on new orders from Upper Deck, eBay, or their website, until they catch up. They keep collecting money around the clock. I don't know if they charge a person ahead of time for when you ship them cards to sell, but if they do and they are behind on those orders, that is even more interest free money they can use to do as they want.

Appreciate the responses. If it's gonna take 4-5 months to get my cards, I'll just ship everything together.

So many people like to be a glutton for punishment. I wouldn’t have anything to do with this company. The incompetence is outrageous yet people keep clamoring for more. It’s like a card abyss. The crazy thing is people having major issues getting their stuff and saying they won’t buy anymore until they get them. Why would you keep putting yourself through this by continuing to purchase? I would get my cards and that would be the end of the relationship. Holy cow, I would probably end up with an ulcer if I sent my cards there.

Just curious if anyone had this problem before. I purchased a card and decided to flip it on comc eBay. Well the card was sent to auction 6 weeks ago and was never listed. I was being patient because I know they are busy but I finally emailed them asking what exactly was happening with the card. I didn’t get a response but noticed the card was back in my inventory. Frustrating thing is; it’s not listed for auction, I can’t price it and it’s listed as ready to be shipped. I was hoping to ship some cards but can’t remove this card from my shipment as it was never a PC Card. Anyone have an idea on what’s happening? Anyone else experience this before?

My recent submission of 410 cards comes due today (3-wk guarantee). They processed 67 yesterday & overnight. Will likely see many of the rest go live today. Maybe even all.

No updates on 3 shipment requests that were due to go out this week & last. 1 economy/2 rushed. I did receive an anonymous USPS tracking email today, but it's probably something from Topps (582).

Exactly. They need some pressure and eyes on them. If they went down, imagine the people and companies it would impact? The fact they won't even respond to people says alot. What are they hiding? Why has this gone on so long? Let's not forget, the issues were piling up before Covid. Now, you say you hired 50 new people yet response time and ship time is at an all time low?

Troublesome. I encourage others, please file complaints so we can be heard.

You could even take it to the point of market manipulation. Of the 500+ cards I have coming, almost all of them are 2020 Marvel Masterpieces that sold out on Upper Deck. So a lot of guys sell their MM20 through COMC, on their site and on eBay through COMC, so in way they are removing competition by holding up my cards. A real stretch, but would be an easy way to limit an already limited product. I feel like you could make a conflict of interest case if you were bored enough.

I’m worried that they’re going to disappear on us all. One day the site will be down and that’s it.... all our cards gone, all of our store credit gone. Something isn’t right over there. They’re hiding behind COVID, claiming they’ve hired 50+ people yet my most recent order is the first one that’s been this late.

And their home page says they are running an eBay auction event for a week at the end of April? How the hell can they do that if they can’t even keep up with their basic functions? It’s all sketchy at this point.

Had 2 cards (At least) from a recent sub not show up in my account despite being 'completed', after an email didn't work I DM'd them on twitter, props to the twitter team they say they'll relay it and I get an immediate email. After a week of nothing, I DM on twitter again, they once again get me an immediate email and now silence again. It's just ridiculous. I know if I DM them on twitter again they'll get me an email but then it'll be ignored after that.

Well, my PayPal cash out request took only three business days, so at least that’s working right.

They shouldn't hurt for cash, they have all the advances on people requesting shipments from Upper Deck, so that is shipping for months out that they don't have to actually pay anything on, free money.
