Very true. Pretty sure their line will be solid. They don’t necessarily have to have Jensen next year, idk his contract situation. Hainsey has been pretty good and shouldn’t drop off next season, chances are he’ll be even better. Goedeke wasn’t ready, but not his fault, he wasn’t supposed to start. Wirfs is the best RT.

Even if there are changes, they’ll still have enough.

It’s early but I mean who’s really picking another team to win the division next year?

Compared to the NFC West if Brady goes to the Niners. It could obviously be the Rams winning it/bouncing back, Seattle isn’t bad obviously and AZ is decent

Just seems like it would be hard to turn away knowing there’s a high chance for at least one home playoff game with the Bucs

I think you are missing something here. The Bucs will be OVER next years salary cap by over 40MM and only have 30 players signed! How do you propose signing 23 more players, including a QB, and still getting below the cap? that doesnt even take into account fielding a practice squad or keeping some in reserve for IR. they will HAVE to cut some major players next season to simply field a team of 53 players. there is just no way they will be able to keep even the status quo next season. the team will be gutted. it will have to be. It is like you are glossing over what is sure to be a salary cap catastrophe .

The Saints cap situation is way worse, yet their roster won’t be horrible, they just have no QB.

Panthers, Falcons, Saints. Which one do you like next season to win it?

That is like telling passengers on the Hindenberg, "dont worry, the Titanic disaster was way worse"

Keep in mind, the Bucs will be WAY over the cap going into next season and they wont have a QB either.

seriously though, you still havent answered the question yet. How do the Bucs keep the players they need if they go into the 2023 season with just 30 players under contract and 40MM over the cap? And no QB.

And what makes you think Tom would want to return to a situation that dire?

Would you rather play in the NFC South or literally any other division?

Not everything is a wild comparison picked out at random, comparing this to the Titanic? Lol it doesn’t need to be compared to anything

Look at the players they WILL have, they can do without a lot.

They won’t have the worst record next season, not even close, it’s not always about the cap

Again lol you like the Panthers to win it next season? Which team?

Answer the question. you are deflecting.

by the way, you dont know what players they will have next season. they will have to cut/trade away players just to get far enough under the cap to field a team.

The schedule/division is huge.

Definitely mitigates the roster changes to a degree for sure. If Brees was still prime Brees in the division and the Bucs had a hard schedule then it’d be different

Or the Panthers could win the division next season like you said

Obviously you didn’t say that, yet you don’t think it will be the Bucs. It’s ok to admit something that’s extremely likely. Brady alone would make up for a lot of lost pieces. With Bradys numbers, you’d think Jensen and Stinnie were starting

It is because the haters saw Brady have a bad game or two and a slow start for the team, so they saw the opportunity to pile on, something they've breathlessly been anticipating "any day now" for about 15 years.

Or it could be a different reason...

One hating troll and one guy who can’t figure out which way the end zone is. The actual football discussion sandwiched somewhere in between.

I would love it if we could go back to talking about Brady rookies.

The people responding to them are more to blame. This thread has become worthless. Every time I check it there’s just people arguing with the clown.

I asked a question about 4 pages ago and got crickets. I don’t think anybody wants to talk about Brady rookies unless it’s a 6 figure card.

I agree, I dont want to be part of the problem. I will no longer respond. I really just want to talk Brady rookies. He is fully 50% of the players I actively collect so this is my main stop on Blowout.

I went back to look for it and couldn't find it.

Found your question. I agree with you, I would NOT buy this ungraded. He's in a Pats uni and it's extremely limited. I'd go for PSA over BGS if you can afford it.

I would also not touch this card ungraded. the bottom left edge, as I remember, is almost always cut funny from the factory. I think I heard that the grading companies are not giving these numerical grades anymore because of that issue.

As a collector, I dont really have a preference between grading companies, as long as you stick to the big 3.

As far as price, it seems as if most everything is dropping right now. with patience, I think you will get what you are looking for at your price.

Can probably count on both hands how many threads on Blowout aren't completely worthless.

good point, but this thread was immune for quite a while.

It was a good run. Hopefully, it will come back.

Appreciate the advice! Didn’t know that about the grading companies not grading them anymore.

I’m holding out until I feel like prices go down further. If anybody sees one come up for sale off eBay for a decent price shoot me a DM.

I recently sent one to BGS sand they wouldn’t grade it because of the miscut on the lower left edge. Probably just going to have it slabbed authentic. I’m lucky though, have a PSA 9 Momentum that is in beautiful shape.
