How is getting access to a private community and free merch not 'doing something outside the ecosystem'? You are only looking at the joining the queue aspect. I said theses are small things, but an example of the utility they can create.

It's very different than a usual challenge because the challenge is over already and now as long as they hold the full set they are in the club and will likely continue to be rewarded for it, not just with more moments.

So this and the loser points pack is their way to keep people on the platform. Basically spend your money and keep it in the platform and maybe, just maybe down the line you’ll make enough back to be at zero. The problem is two fold, keep “collectors” engaged and draw in new one. Maybe this helps keep them but what does it do to draw in new money?

The status and being in the club that comes with perks is the utility. Call it whatever you like, but it's something extra for holding something other than just looking at it. I'll just call it utility because that's what it is.

A private Topshot community of other flippers? There’s plenty. Merch? Really? Who cares?

Again, none of those are utility. They’re perks, rewards, whatever you want to call them.
