What a trade! Barry and sneak peak for a duplicate. This may have turned out to be the best week yet.

I'm glad to see Topps quick reaction to the snafu.

I'm not sure how they determine the bio text, but I like to compare to Baseball Reference each week for accuracy.

Regarding Bonds, Baseball Reference has the following differences.
Born/Hometown: Riverside, CA
Height: 6-1
Weight: 185

I don't know the date of the Baseball Reference bio stats, but I wanted to bring them up in case an edit is needed.

Looks like Topps removed the direct links from their site.

I saved the images, and uploaded them to Flickr. I've updated my weekly post to include said images.

This is what happened with the first Schwarber card (#439) Jared did. Schwarber was originally drawn to be featured with the Nationals, but the card was released 8/11/2021, just after the trade deadline, so Jared had to touch up the artwork to change the hat. If you look at the art print, you can tell Schwarber is wearing a Nationals home jersey, as the Red Sox don't have the red spoon piping.

Yes. I recall Jared posting the before and after. Trying to remember if we have any other unreleased variation.

The logo on Clevinger’s cap was changed from the reference photo but not sure if that changed after review.

I believe text was removed from Bellinger’s (Cubs) bat as well.

Just catching up on all this. What a wild ride today but great outcome. Today was banner day with Topps, artists, and fans all pulling together. Long live the living set!

Barry Bonds AND Lefty Grove in the same week. Both in the espn top 100 all time. This has been an exceptional week for the set. The Bonds card is my favourite so far. Amazing art work and what a selection

No auto facsimile on the back of the Bonds card for a reason or just an oversight?

Is the Barry Bonds the first “in action” subject for the set?

I don't think so? I guess a lot of the cards are batting stances (Wade Boggs & Ryne Sandburg) granted some are clearly more of a pose than others. Scanning cards quickly, Eddie Rosario appears to be running? Clayton Kershaw is clearly about to throw some heat.

I'm glad they included his highly controversial grandfathered in mech-suit in the portrait. It's the perfect asterisk for the card.

I went back to look at Boggs and Sandberg, those are definitely poses, Rosario looks like he’s walking back to the dugout after another strikeout. Kershaw looks like he could be pitching or hanging on the railing in the dugout

Good catch.

Hopefully Angel or Jared can bring this to Topps attention before it goes to print.

I believe Bonds is signing in other Topps products this year.

Well #465 - Jorge Soler is definitely catching a ball in the foreground.

Not a lot of players look that happy after a strikeout. The reference image has the information of:
